Patent number: 8381798Abstract: A micro fluid device includes a heating unit and a cooling unit, each with piping disposed within. The heating and cooling units are integrally coupled together, and fluid flows into the piping of respective units. A temperature control device includes a heat insulator which has a through hole equal in diameter to the piping disposed within the heating unit and cooling unit. The heat insulator is interposed between heating unit and the cooling unit. A positioning mechanism positions the heat insulator to bring the piping into communication with the through hole at the time of coupling the heating and cooling units.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2008Date of Patent: February 26, 2013Assignee: FUJIFILM CorporationInventors: Takayuki Fujiwara, Mamoru Fujisawa, Yoshiyuki Miyoshi

Patent number: 7171974Abstract: At least one of a nucleus forming process, a nucleus growing process, a chemical sensitizing process, and a spectral sensitizing process for producing a silver halide photographic emulsion is performed by using a microreactor. A minute region of the microreactor is used to precisely perform a reaction of nucleus formation. A condition under which host grains are allowed to react with newly supplied silver halide nuclei is made uniform to cause uniform crystal growth. A predetermined quantity of molecules for chemical sensitization is doped in a crystal lattice of a nucleus of silver halide to effect a sensitizing process. Alternatively, a spectral sensitizing process in which a single molecular layer of a spectral sensitizer is uniformly adsorbed on a silver halide nucleus grain surface is securely carried out.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2004Date of Patent: February 6, 2007Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hideharu Nagasawa, Yasunori Ichikawa, Fumiko Shiraishi, Hiroshi Maeda, Mamoru Fujisawa

Patent number: 6355505Abstract: Heat sinks for semiconductor laser devices are manufactured by processing a surface of a panel into a mirror surface, forming a plurality of substantially parallel photomasks spaced at predetermined intervals on the mirror surface, etching the mirror surface through the photomasks to define grooves, the grooves and the mirror surface jointly providing edges therebetween, removing the photomasks from the panel, and thereafter, cutting the panel along the grooves into a plurality of heat sinks. Each of the heat sinks has a surface having a desired ultrahigh level of surface finish accuracy up its edge, and can be manufactured relatively inexpensively.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 1999Date of Patent: March 12, 2002Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroshi Maeda, Mamoru Fujisawa, Yoshikazu Hanada

Patent number: 5935361Abstract: An original roll positioning device sets a position of an end face of a new roll at a predetermined reference position. An end pull-out device sucks and pulls out the leading end of the new web from the positioned new roll at a predetermined length. A pair of roll-up chucks of an end roll-up device holds both sides of the leading end of the pulled-out web, and the roll-up chucks are rotated to roll up the leading end of the web at a predetermined length. A suction box sucks the web at a part between the roll up chucks and the roll, and then a cutter cuts the web along the width of the web to form a splicing part. The splicing part is sucked by the suction box, and the spliced part is made to wait in this state until the start of the splicing operation.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 1997Date of Patent: August 10, 1999Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hisashi Takahashi, Mamoru Fujisawa, Yoshio Kawakami

Patent number: 5307225Abstract: An azimuth regulating mechanism is provided which can easily perform the azimuth regulation with an increased precision after a carriage including a magnetic head mounted thereon has been fixed to the frame of a floppy disc drive. The carriage is slidably supported by a guide rail which is firmly held against fixing pins on the frame by means of a guide rail holder. One of the fixing pins is in contact with an eccentric portion formed on the guide rail. When the guide rail is rotated, it can be finely regulated in the horizontal direction to regulate the azimuth angle of the head on the carriage.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 1993Date of Patent: April 26, 1994Assignee: Citizen Watch Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshiyuki Ohishi, Masao Kita, Yoshikazu Matsumura, Mamoru Fujisawa
