  • Patent number: 12006334
Abstract: The synthesis and characterization of a platinum (II) terpyridine system tethered with a latent organic dye of rhodamine derivative as colorimetric and fluorescent sensory moiety has been reported to show selective Hg2+ ion sensing behavior. The interplay of aggregation/de-aggregation behavior of the alkynylplatinum(II) terpyridine complex and the ring-opening process of rhodamine derivative has been investigated. The spectral change of aggregation NIR emission at 800 nm and rhodamine fluorescence at 585 nm provides a possible ratiometric luminescence measurement. Morphological studies from TEM and SEM images showing nanospherical structures confirmed the aggregation in the absence of Hg2+ ion.

  • Publication number: 20240097579
Abstract: Disclosed are a parallel multi-converter and a capacity design method therefor. A first output current model and a second output current model are generated by respectively acquiring electrical parameters of an inductive voltage source converter and a capacitive voltage source converter, and the first output current model and the second output current model are integrated under the same output current condition, so that it may be ensured that the inductive voltage source converter and the capacitive voltage source converter have the same current generating ability; meanwhile, a coupling inductance relationship between the inductive voltage source converter and the capacitive voltage source converter is combined to further obtain the optimal capacity value of the inductive voltage source converter and the optimal capacity value of the capacitive voltage source converter. Therefore, the L-VSC and the LC-VSC have the same current generating ability, and the multi-converter has lower total voltage capacity.

  • Publication number: 20220384740
Abstract: A series of highly luminescent cyclometalated rhodium(III) complexes, with photoluminescence quantum yields up to 0.65 in thin films, have been designed and prepared. The strong luminescence property is realized by the judicious choice of a strong ?-donor cyclometalating ligand with lower-lying intraligand state and the ability to raise the d-d excited state. This is the first report to demonstrate the capability of rhodium(III) complexes as high efficient light-emitting materials for organic light-emitting devices. Compelling external quantum efficiencies of up to 12.2% and operational half-lifetime of over 3,000 hours have been achieved.

  • Patent number: 11214586
Abstract: Through the use of a rhodamine appended chelate, a versatile strategy has been demonstrated to generate mitochondria-targeting photosensitizers via the incorporation of variety of luminescent transition metal systems. The generation of triplet excited state of rhodamine moiety endows the complexes with mitochondria-targeting photosensitizing ability to form singlet oxygen (1O2) for use as photodynamic therapy (PDT) agent. The combination of rhodamine organic dye and luminescent transition metal centers in such hybrid systems exhibits the synergistic merits, including low dark cytotoxicity, selective tumor cell uptake, high molar absorptivity for low-energy excitation in the visible region, and high photostability.

  • Patent number: 10003195
Abstract: A hybrid-STATCOM for providing compensating reactive power required by a load, the hybrid-STATCOM comprising: a TCLC part for each electric power phase, each TCLC part comprising: a coupling inductor; a power filter capacitor; and a thyristor-controlled reactor connected in series with a power filter inductor; and an active inverter part comprising: a voltage source inverter for each electric power phase; and a DC-link capacitor connected in parallel with the voltage source inverters. The control strategy of the hybrid-STATCOM is separated into two parts: TCLC part control and Active inverter part control. The TCLC part control is based on the instantaneous pq theory and aims to compensate the loading reactive power with the controllable TCLC part impedance. The active inverter part control is based on the instantaneous active and reactive current id-iq method and aims to improve the overall performance of the hybrid-STATCOM under different voltage and current conditions.

Exemplarily, the TCLC compensator is shunt-connected to the three-phase power grid and comprises an electronic controller, a coupling inductor (Lc), a first branch of circuit with a parallel inductor (LPF) and a solid-state switch, and a second branch of circuit with a parallel capacitor (CPF), wherein the coupling inductor (Lc) is connected in series with a parallel combination of the first and second branch of circuit. The electronic controller for the TCLC compensator is configured in accordance to the generalized instantaneous reactive power theory for improving the response speed instead of using traditional average reactive power concept.

  • Patent number: 9692232
Abstract: A mixed signal controller for a power quality compensator includes an analog circuit, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and a digital circuit. The analog circuit amplifies an input signal from the power quality compensator by a gain factor and outputs an analog signal, which is converted to a digital signal by the ADC. The digital circuit receives the digital signal, calculates the reference compensating current of each phase and then generates a trigger signal via hysteresis PWM to the power quality compensator. The digital circuit includes an evaluation circuit that calculates a value of the system total harmonic distortion after the power quality compensator compensates power and adjusts the gain factor when the value of the system total harmonic distortion reaches a predetermined threshold.
