    Abstract: A wasp catching device installed on a beehive according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a capture chamber installed above the bee entrance of the beehive, formed of a mesh through which light is transmitted or a transparent or translucent material, and configured to capture wasps, and a capture chamber entrance located in the lower portion of the capture chamber, and formed to attract wasps by light entering the inside of the capture chamber. A flight space for the free flight of wasps and bees is provided below the capture chamber entrance by spacing the capture chamber apart from the ground by a predetermined distance. The wasp catching device allows wasps having the habit of flying upward to fly upward and be attracted to the capture chamber entrance by means of light emitted from the inside of the capture chamber while flying in the flight space.
