The system is intended to cooperate with a portable player (PP) comprising a second internal clock and a screen (S). The method comprises the steps of: —setting the time of said first internal clock at the time of said second internal clock, —selecting a given time value being displayed on said screen, —memorizing said given time value in said system, —setting the time of said second internal clock at the time of said first internal clock, —triggering an alarm signal on said system when the time of said first internal clock reaches said given time value. According to this method, when the portable player is docked to the system, the system according to the invention does not require its own screen because the screen of the portable player is used to display the current time and the alarm time during setting it, resulting in a reduction of the costs of the system.

    Abstract: A screw installation device is provided, including a base having a tray for carrying a circuit board, a vertical holder vertically disposed on the base, an accommodating unit, an elastic unit, and a double-link horizontal holder having one end connected to the vertical holder and the other end connected to the accommodating unit for accommodating an electric screwdriver. The double-link horizontal holder adjusts the position of the accommodating unit such that the electric screwdriver is movable with respect to the tray in both vertical and horizontal directions. The elastic unit is mounted on the double-link horizontal holder for providing the accommodating unit with an upward elastic force after a downward force is exerted on the electric screwdriver for installing the screw. The present invention eliminates the adverse effects such as reduction in service life and scratching of the product as a result of slippage of the electric screwdriver head.

    Abstract: A mobile switching center is configured with software instructions which allow it to continue to provide at least limited call termination and call origination services for mobile terminals in the event of a failure of a signaling link between the mobile switching center and a home location register and/or a signal control point (SCP) in an intelligent network. For pre-paid callers originating or terminating a call, the mobile switching center marks a call detail record as indicating that the call is a post-paid call. The call detail record is later provided to the SCP after the signaling link has been restored in order to bill the mobile terminal. In one example, the signaling link between the mobile switching center and the home location register or SCP may be a satellite link, which may go down for various reasons such as for maintenances, an unexpected failure, or the orbit of the satellite goes outside the field of reception of an antenna in the signal path.
