  • Patent number: 5919353
Abstract: In a method for thermally reforming an emulsion, comprising removing water and an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt contained in an oil-in-water type emulsion of a tarry material or a heavy fuel oil (e.g., ORINOCO BITUMEN), sulfuric acid is added, in an amount of preferably 0.05% to 1.0% by weight based on the emulsion, to the emulsion, the mixture is allowed to stand at such a temperature as to give a difference in density between separated water and heavy fuel oil, preferably for 10 min or more, to permit oil-water separation, and the separated oil phase is withdrawn. When the tarry material is ORINOCO BITUMEN, an emulsion made of ORINOCO BITUMEN is thermochemically reformed by adding 0.1 to 0.4% by weight of sulfuric acid to ORINOCO BITUMEN, allowing the mixture to stand under pressure at a temperature of 170.degree. to 200.degree. • Patent number: 5876193
Abstract: The present invention relates to an oil pump rotor provided with an inner rotor 10 to which n (n is a natural number) outer teeth 11 are formed, an outer rotor 20 to which n+1 inner teeth 21 are formed which engage with each of the outer teeth 11, and a casing 30 in which an intake port 31 for taking up fluid and an expulsion port 32 for expelling fluid are formed, wherein:the outer teeth of inner rotor are formed by alternately combining an epicycloid curve and a hypocycloid curve, the epicycloid curve being generated as an orbit of the point on a circle which rolls along the outside of the base circle without slipping, and the hypocycloid curve being generated as an orbit of a point on a circle which rolls along the inside of the base circle without slipping; the alternately combined curve being generated under the following condition, where E is the diameter of the circle which rolls along the outside of the base circle, and H is the diameter of the circle which rolls along the inside of the base circle:0.

  • Patent number: 5356971
Abstract: A thermosetting powder coating composition which contains a resin composition containing (a) 60 to 97 weight % of a fluororesin having reactive group for crosslinking in the molecule which contains 10 weight % or more of fluorine and has glass transition temperature in the range from 35.degree. to 120.degree. C., (b) 3 to 40 weight % of a hardener which can form crosslinking by reaction with the reactive group for crosslinking in the fluororesin (a), (c) 0.01 to 10 weight parts of a synthetic wax or a natural wax based on 100 weight parts of the resin composition and (d) 0.001 to 1.0 weight parts of a material as a coupling agent based on 100 weight parts of the resin composition, forms a coating layer which has the same degree of water repellency and slipping property as those formed from polytetrafluoroethylene powder while the excellent weatherability, acid resistance and adhesion to substrates are retained.
