  • Publication number: 20100142023
Abstract: This vibrating mirror element includes a pair of first beam portions supporting a mirror portion in a vibratile manner, a pair of second beam portions connected with the pair of first beam portions respectively, and a pair of driving portions connected with the pair of second beam portions respectively. The mirror portion is arranged in a region surrounded by the pair of second beam portions and the pair of driving portions. The width of the pair of first beam portions and the width of the pair of second beam portions are rendered smaller than the width of the pair of driving portions.

  • Publication number: 20100002152
Abstract: A detection surface of an optical detector is divided into regions C, E, F, G, and H. The optical detector outputs detection signals corresponding to the amounts of light incident on the respective regions. A position detection controller calculates an image projection position based on timing at which a laser beam is incident on region C. A laser control circuit adjusts the intensity of the laser beam emitted by a laser based on laser beam intensities detected in regions E to H arranged around region C.

  • Publication number: 20090284506
Abstract: A scanning position of laser light applied to a projection plane is detected, and based on the detected scanning position, a synchronization signal is generated to designate a scan timing. A correction region detection portion detects whether or not a part corresponding to a prescribe region of an image on the projection plane is scanned by laser light, based on the generated synchronization signal. When the part corresponding to the prescribed region is scanned, a correction amount derivation portion corrects a gradation signal based on the difference between the detected quantity of laser light and a prescribed quantity of light to be output from the laser for displaying the image in the prescribed region.

  • Publication number: 20090284190
Abstract: This vibrating element includes a movable portion driven to vibrate at a prescribed resonance frequency, a driving portion vibrating the movable portion by cyclically supplying a pulse signal and a detecting portion detecting the vibrational state of the movable portion, while the driving portion is so formed as to supply the pulse signal at a first frequency substantially identical to the resonance frequency of the movable portion at least in starting and to cyclically supply the pulse signal at a second frequency smaller than the first frequency in detection of the vibrational state of the movable portion.
