  • Patent number: 6724808
Abstract: A transmission power control method of measuring an Eb/N0 after weighted signals are combined is disclosed. A plurality of rake receivers detect respective received signals for respective paths, delay demodulated data which are the detection result based on a set delay time, and then combine and output the demodulated data. A multipath searcher acquires reception delay information which is information on a delay time among the respective paths contained in the received signals. A rake receiver control unit sets the delay times for the rake receivers based on the reception delay information acquired by the multipath searcher. A plurality of first weighting units weight the demodulated data output from the respective rake receivers. A first combining unit combines the signals weighted by the first weighting units into one signal. An Eb/N0 measuring unit measures an Eb/N0 of the demodulated data combined by the first combining unit.

  • Publication number: 20040039982
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dot code and a reader which is adapted to prevent the codes on the upper and lower lines from overlapping with each other and to be positively read out. A two-dimensional code is realized which can be read out positively. A printing section, when printing a two-dimensional code, prints dots on every other line. Dots are printed on every column. However, on the adjacent columns, dots are printed in a manner deviated in phase. With this, in the case of detecting a dot concentration in each direction of line and determining a presence or absence of a code, the waveform representing a color tone deviates in phase line by line, thus making possible to positively recognize a change in the lines.

  • Publication number: 20030128266
Abstract: The present invention relates to a code printing method and a code format, capable of accurate recognition of codes. Printing by nozzles excluding nozzles at one end out of nozzles of a printer head prevents codes printed by the scanning of the printer head from overlapping at each scanning as shown by a portion surrounded by an oval part in the drawing to permit accurate printing of codes. In addition, by printing a synchronizing code column, positions of printed dots can be accurately detected to thereby permit accurate recognition of printed codes.

  • Patent number: 6590888
Abstract: A cellar system using code divisional multiple access (CDMA) system is disclosed, that comprises a plurality of finger circuits, and a search engine portion having a reception level measuring portion for detecting reception levels from reception signals and comparing the reception levels with a predetermined threshold value, a plurality of inversely spreading portions for multiplying the reception signals by spread codes, an inner memory for storing correlation signals received from the plurality of inversely spreading portions, and a reception path timing generating portion for detecting reception paths from output signals of the inner memory and, generating a path timing, wherein the search engine portion determines whether or not to output a correlation signal of the inner memory to the reception path timing generating portion.

  • Patent number: 6533182
Abstract: Timing marks are printed at the left and right of a data mark of a two-dimensional dot code. Whether or not the data mark exists is determined based on the position on the line connecting the centers of the timing marks at both ends at the left and right of the data mark.

  • Patent number: 6404757
Abstract: A code division multiple access system includes the steps of sequentially generating reception symbols by de-spreading a reception signal, generating a threshold on the basis of an average amplitude obtained by averaging amplitudes of a predetermined number of reception symbols, generating a weighted reception symbol by multiplying an amplitude of the reception symbol by a weighting coefficient, and sequentially selecting one of the reception symbol and the weighted reception symbol as a reception symbol of the reception signal in accordance with a result obtained by comparing the amplitude of the reception symbol and the threshold.
