  • Publication number: 20240157245
Abstract: There is provided an information processing apparatus and resources for automatically recognizing an allowed region in order to eliminate time and effort required every time the allowed region is to be designated. The information processing apparatus includes a sorting section, a region identifying section, and an allowed region determining section. The sorting section sorts multiple planes included in space information representing an object existing in a three-dimensional space by use of the multiple planes, into at least a plane corresponding to a base and a plane corresponding to an obstacle. The region identifying section calculates a base region pertaining to the plane corresponding to the base and an obstacle region pertaining to the plane corresponding to the obstacle. The allowed region determining section calculates, on the basis of the base region and the obstacle region, an allowed region in which a target object existing in the three-dimensional space is allowed to be positioned.

  • Patent number: 5744541
Abstract: There is disclosed a method for the preparation of a copolymer of polypropylene and organopolysiloxane, the method comprising heating a solution of an .alpha., .omega.-diene-propylene polymer and an organohydrido polysiloxane having on average at least two SiH groups in one molecule at a temperature below the boiling point of the solvent. Preferably, the .alpha., .omega.-diene-propylene polymer is obtained by subjecting polypropylene to thermal decomposition in an inert atmosphere at a pressure below atmospheric pressure.

  • Patent number: 4769152
Abstract: A process for removing electrolyte comprising forming a compartment for dealing with a liquid by juxtaposed arrangement of a first barrier across or through which a cation can be exchanged for hydrogen ion and a second barrier across or through which an anion can be exchanged for hydroxyl ion, forming a passage for acid solution outside the first barrier, forming a passage for alkaline solution outside the second barrier and inserting the liquid containing electrolyte into the compartment.

  • Patent number: 4642118
Abstract: This invention concerns a double-layered man-made skin which is prepared by laminating a collagen sponge sheet and a poly-.alpha.-amino acid membrane that has a good affinity with tissue cells and an appropriate permeability for moisture. When the man-made skin is applied on burns, cuts or wounds, the fibroblasts proliferate in the collagen sponge sheet forming a three-dimensional structure, while the epidermal cells proliferate in the region between the poly-.alpha.-amino acid membrane and a collagen sponge sheet. The poly-.alpha.-amino acid membrane plays a role in protecting affected part and in providing an optimum condition for the proliferation of fibroblasts and epidermal cells, and then it falls off as the epidermis completely regenerates. On the other hand, the collagen sponge sheet assimilates in the living tissue after having played a general role of the dermis.

  • Patent number: 4581779
Abstract: A washing apparatus body mounted on a toilet bowl is provided with a hot-water tank supplied with water by a feed water supply device, such as a pump, a function changeover valve connected to the hot-water tank, a plurality of nozzles connected to the function changeover valve, at least a part of the nozzles being provided within the washing apparatus body, and a vacuum releasing valve positioned in the water path between the hot-water tank and the function changeover valve for discharging water in the water path downstream therefrom after use of the apparatus so that no water remains in the downstream water path in a standby state. Hot-water paths leading from the hot-water tank to the nozzles are made as short as possible so as to permit hot water from the hot-water tank to jet out from the respective nozzles toward a user in a short period of time upon the starting of washing and to minimize heat losses in the lines.
