  • Patent number: 7639997
Abstract: The communication performance of a radio communication system is improved while keeping short time necessary for attaining synchronization. A low noise amplifier is selectively provided with one of an input signal supplied from the outside of the system and an oscillation output signal of a local oscillator. A mixer integrates the oscillation output signal of the local oscillator and an output signal of the low noise amplifier. An intensity discriminating unit discriminates the signal intensity of an output of the mixer. In a first state, the low noise amplifier amplifies the oscillation output signal of the local oscillator, and a control unit learns a frequency band of the low noise amplifier for maximizing the signal intensity on the basis of the discrimination result of the intensity discriminating unit. In a second state, the low noise amplifier is set to the frequency band learned in the first state and amplifies the input signal.

  • Publication number: 20090316741
Abstract: A temperature control apparatus that performs stabile temperature control operation, besides avoiding generation of unwanted noise. A thermo-control device cools or heats an object according to a supply current that a thermo-control driver provides according to a specified control voltage. A temperature sensor observes the temperature of the object. A variable voltage controller varies the control voltage such that the observed temperature of the object will be a specified reference temperature. The variable voltage controller begins to operate in alternate setting mode when the control voltage is expected to enter a voltage range in which the thermo-control driver could malfunction. During that mode, the variable voltage controller outputs a first control voltage and a second control voltage alternately at predetermined intervals. The first and second control voltages are malfunction-free voltages near the malfunction-prone voltage range.

  • Publication number: 20080010399
Abstract: Disclosed is a program control device for managing cache information and generating an optimum linker option to thereby improve use efficiency of a cache memory. A cache line information generating section is formed which, when a target program is loaded into a main memory, generates cache line information. Therefore, the cache line information having memory address information and symbolic information in a function of the target program in a cache line can be displayed with cache performance information. Accordingly, functions causing a cache conflict can be easily specified and rearranged by a linker option so as not to share the same cache line. As a result, the cache misses can be reduced.
