Abstract: In a door frame for vehicle which is mounted to a door panel via a reinforcing bracket, the door frame has a projecting portion which projects toward the vehicle interior side from a design portion over a range from a frame forming portion, which appears on the outward appearance of the door, to an insertion portion which is fixed to said reinforcing bracket, and the projecting portion is formed into a widened shape which makes the distance between a wall surface on the frame inner peripheral side and a wall surface on the frame outer peripheral side at the insertion portion greater than that at the frame forming portion. Accordingly, the strength of the fixed portion of the door frame to the reinforcing bracket is improved. In addition, the selectivity of welding location between the door frame and the reinforcing bracket is improved.
