    Abstract: A power plant control system includes a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to process events in the processor according to a method. The system identifies an adjustable component of a power plant based on an image of at least a portion of the adjustable component, the adjustable component controlling at least one operational parameter of the power plant. An operational instruction is generated for the adjustable component from a database based on the image, the operational instruction capable of being rendered visually in an augmented reality (AR) system. The operational instruction is transmitted to the AR system for implementing by a user; and real-time operational data is transmitted to the AR system. The real-time operational data including a change to the at least one operational parameter based on an adjustment made to the adjustable component.
