In some examples, the network interface device includes a network interface, a direct memory access (DMA) circuitry, a host interface, memory, one or more processors, and circuitry to: based on a configuration of operation specifying a standalone operation, cause the network interface device to operate in standalone to execute one or more applications and based on a configuration of operation specifying a companion operation, cause the network interface device to operate in companion to provide at least one host system with access to one or more hardware resources accessible by the network interface device.

Abstract: Various aspects of techniques, systems, and use cases include provide instructions for operating an autonomous mobile robot (AMR). A technique may include capturing audio or video data using a sensor of the AMR, performing a classification of the audio or video data using a trained classifier, and identifying a coordinate of an environmental map corresponding to a location of the audio or video data. The technique may include updating the environmental map to include the classification as metadata corresponding to the coordinate. The technique may include communicating the updated environmental map to an edge device.

Abstract: A facility control system to determine a more efficient route for moving materials from one object to another object. A more efficient route for the material can be determined by an algorithm. The algorithm can take into account data including the priority of the material, the type of object at the current position of the material, the type of object at the new position of the material, the transport systems connected to the objects, and other data. The algorithm can determine a more efficient route faster than searching a table of all possible routes in a facility.
