    Abstract: A sun shade and/or system of shades is used for preventing sunlight from shining into an interior of the automobile. Such a device or system is mountable to an automobile having a front end with a windshield, a right side, and a left side. The sun shade is generally formed of three members. An elongated front member has a flexible front panel, and is adapted for placement at a top of the windshield. Right and left members are placed at the right and left sides, respectively, of the automobile. The front panel is extendable out of and retractable into the front member. Side panels are extendable out of and retractable into the side members. The panels may be extended and retracted automatically using a remote or manually by hand.
