  • Publication number: 20220111193
Abstract: A hemostatic valve extension is provided that allows a clinician to perform interventional procedures from any location around the patient rather than being limited to a particular side, often the right side. The extension provides for a hemostatic connector, flexible tube, and a replacement hemostatic valve that allows the original hemostatic valve, which can be, for example, part of an introducer sheath, to be bypassed and the replacement hemostatic valve to be used to perform the medical procedure from a desired location of the clinician. The extension can include a distal end connecting element that is configured to be used with a plurality of hemostatic valve types such that the connector can be used with different sized hemostatic valves without having to swap parts or components on the connector.

  • Patent number: 11191941
Abstract: Systems and connectors for hemostasis valves and associated methods are disclosed herein. According to an aspect, a connector for a medical device includes a body defining a first opening, a second opening, and a channel. The channel provides passage between the first opening and the second opening. The body is configured to engage an inlet port of a hemostasis valve at the first opening when the body and the hemostasis valve are arranged in one or more positions with respect to each other. The connector also includes a clip attached to the body and configured to fasten the body to the hemostasis valve when the body and the hemostasis valve are arranged in one of the positions.

  • Publication number: 20210183500
Abstract: A method includes receiving medical image data from an image sharing application running on a sharing device. The method further includes determining a category of medical information represented in the medical image data. The method also includes identifying a viewing device to view the medical image data. The method additionally includes transmitting, to the viewing device, a request for confirmation of a medical condition associated with the category of medical information, wherein the request allows the viewing device to view the medical image data in an image viewing application running on the viewing device before an end of a timeout period. The method further includes receiving, from the viewing device, a signal confirming the medical condition based on the medical image data. The method also includes in response to receiving the signal, transmitting an activation signal to each member user device of a medical team associated with the viewing device.

  • Patent number: 6968477
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring a host computer using a service processor is provided. A shared nonvolatile random access memory (NVRAM) area is used to store progress information from the host computer system. The host computer system writes progress information corresponding to the initialization step being performed to the shared NVRAM and also updates a host pointer in the NVRAM. The service processor reads the shared NVRAM and compares its pointer with the host pointer to determine whether new host initialization activity has been reported. The service processor sets a timer so that if host activity is not reported during a set amount of time an error condition occurs causing the service processor to handle the host computer error. An optional service processor routine determines whether the host computer is stuck in an initialization loop whereupon the service processor once again handles the host computer error.
