Publication number: 20240330596Abstract: Systems and methods may generally be used for managing customer interactions with employees of an institution. An example method may include detecting natural language used during at least one interaction of a customer with the institution. The example method may include determining whether the interaction complies with a compliance standard corresponding to customer interactions with the institution based on analysis of the natural language. The example method can further include generating a recommendation for interacting with the customer or other customers during an interaction with the institution.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 29, 2023Publication date: October 3, 2024Inventors: Manesh Saini, Omar Zeitoun

Publication number: 20240330942Abstract: Systems and methods may generally be used for detecting presence of a customer at a geographic location associated with an institution. Sentiment of the customer can be determined prior to interaction of the customer with the institution based on analysis of a characteristic of the customer. A recommendation can be generated for interacting with the customer based on the sentiment.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 29, 2023Publication date: October 3, 2024Inventors: Michael Paul Bortis, Austin Lee Grelle, Manesh Saini, Laura Kaye Woten

Publication number: 20240303572Abstract: An example computer system for identifying similar processes can include: one or more processors; and non-transitory computer-readable storage media encoding instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the computer system to create: a similarity engine programmed to use machine learning to analyze a plurality of processes for an enterprise; a models engine programmed to identify similarities between the plurality of processes using the machine learning; and a display engine programmed to display the similarities between the plurality of processes.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 10, 2023Publication date: September 12, 2024Inventors: Michael Bortis, Guangcao Ji, Carlton Jay Lindgren, JR., Manesh Saini, Winthrop Treynor Smith, Ronald Sobey

Publication number: 20240289422Abstract: Disclosed is an approach for evaluating internal consistency of object classifications using machine learning modeling. In an example, models are iteratively trained, using supervised learning, on different majority segments (e.g., about 90%) of a dataset as training data segments. Trained models can be applied to the remaining data (e.g., about 10%) as test data segments to obtain, for each object, a predicted classification and a confidence score. Models in training iterations (e.g., 10 iterations) may be independently trained on substantially non-overlapping test data segments (with each iteration testing, e.g., about 10% of the dataset). When a model's predicted classification disagrees from a prior classification, and the confidence of the prediction is sufficiently high (indicating sufficiently strong disagreement), the object's prior classification may be revised. Training data, other than the data itself being evaluated for consistency, is not necessarily required.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 6, 2024Publication date: August 29, 2024Applicant: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.Inventors: Carleton J. Lindgren, Manesh Saini, Hasan Adem Yilmaz

Publication number: 20240185338Abstract: Risk assessment can be performed in many contexts including in lending. A set of metrics can be received and derived from data associated with a party, such as a third-party retailer or dealer, with respect to performance of an activity. A subset of metrics can be identified that exceed a threshold of acceptable performance. Weights can be applied to at least the subset of metrics that captures significance of corresponding metrics. A single weighted score can be computed from aggregation of the weighted subset of metrics, and a third party can be classified based on comparison of the weighted score to a predetermined threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 12, 2024Publication date: June 6, 2024Inventors: Hemalatha AC, Dipan Banerjee, Naveen Yeri, Srimoyee Duttagupta, Pranshu Sharma, Alan On Yau, Michelle Sunna Nowe, Manesh Saini, Hasan Yilmaz

Publication number: 20230259534Abstract: Disclosed are systems and method of mapping data entries originating in different systems. A plurality of data entries from different systems are normalized such that they can be compared to each other and mapped, even though the data entries are defined by data fields with differing phrases, descriptive details, and lengths of detail. Data entries may be filtered according to data fields before a mapping operation is employed for mapping. The mapping operation evaluates similarity scores based on the data fields using a combination of exact matching algorithms, dictionary matching algorithms, and text mining algorithms. The mapped data entries and data fields are displayed to a user.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2023Publication date: August 17, 2023Applicant: Wells Fargo Bank N.A.Inventors: Kamila Rywelska, Carleton J. Lindgren, Manesh Saini, Hasan Adem Yilmaz

Patent number: 11574150Abstract: Quality associated with an interpretation of data captured as unstructured data can be determined. Attributes can be identified within the unstructured data automatically. Subsequently, sentiment associated with each of the attributes can be determined based on the unstructured data. Correctness of the unstructured data, and thus the interpretation, can be assessed based on a comparison of the attribute and associated sentiment with structured data. A quality score can be generated that captures the quality of the data interpretation in terms of correctness and as well as results of another analysis including completeness, among others. Comparison of the quality score to a threshold can dictate whether or not the interpretation is subject to further review.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2019Date of Patent: February 7, 2023Assignee: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.Inventors: Pranshu Sharma, Srimoyee Duttagupta, Naveen Gururaja Yeri, Hemalatha AC, Dipan Banerjee, Alan On Yau, Michelle Sunna Nowe, Manesh Saini, Hasan Adem Yilmaz

Publication number: 20220366490Abstract: Automatic decisioning associated with unstructured data is disclosed. Unstructured data, such as that associated with comments of an underwriter regarding a credit decision, can be received. Text mining can be performed to extract features from the unstructured data. The extracted features can subsequently be provided as input to a machine learning model configured to return a prediction of a class associated with the unstructured data. The predicted class, such as approved or rejected, can subsequently be conveyed for display on a display device.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 1, 2019Publication date: November 17, 2022Inventors: Srimoyee Duttagupta, Pranshu Sharma, Naveen Gururaja Yeri, Hemalatha AC, Dipan Banerjee, Alan On Yau, Michelle Sunna Nowe, Siddhartha Mishra, Manesh Saini, Hasan Adem Yilmaz, Brandon Trujillo
