  • Publication number: 20240375308
Abstract: To minimize the frequency of losses in the form of product tailpieces, which cannot be sliced because of gripper claws located therein, long or endless products are produced, whether outside or inside the cutting machine, by positioning product parts adjacently in lengthwise direction one behind another and joining mutually facing end faces of these product parts. The product parts may be joined outside the machine, resulting in long but finite products, or by positioning within the machine and on a feed belt a new product part in each case in succession at the rear end of the product currently being sliced and joining the new product part to the rear end of the rearmost product part of the previous product to form a virtually endless product.

  • Patent number: 11945132
Abstract: In order that grippers on individual tracks of a multi-track slicing machine can be moved and controlled independently of one another, they are not all mounted on a same gripper slide guided on the only slide guide present. Instead, at least two slide guides may be present, each of which carries at least one gripper slide, which in turn either carries several grippers or several gripper slides.

  • Patent number: 11179863
Abstract: In order to avoid a gap on both sides of a blade exit point, if an outer radius of a product caliber is smaller than an inner radius of a product opening in a cutting frame at this point, a contour of the cutting frame in this blade exit area is given a radius of curvature as small as the smallest product caliber to be expected.

  • Patent number: 10640301
Abstract: A conveyor belt system for forming a predetermined arrangement of a plurality of products (provided to the conveyor individually or in respective groups) that are intended for an infeed process on a packaging machine. The plurality of products may be oriented in a row transversely to the conveying direction. The conveyor belt system may include a distributing belt module that takes up products from an upstream positioned product provider, a buffer belt module arranged downstream of the distributing belt module and configured to convey in a plurality of tracks extending side by side along the conveying direction a respective plurality of products one after the other, and an orienting belt module that can position the products in at least one row transversely oriented to the conveying direction according to the predetermined arrangement, the orienting belt module being positioned downstream of the buffer belt module in the conveying direction.

  • Patent number: 5927726
Abstract: A sealing system for connecting a valve for fuel injection in combustion engines to a fuel rail. Prior art systems employ an O-ring as a sealing element seated in an external groove of the valve housing which ends with a groove limiting flange adjacent to a bore in the rail, whereby the O-ring has to seal radially inside (groove bottom) and outside (wall of the hollow to include the valve). The disadvantage of such known systems is that under low temperature operation conditions special material properties of the O-ring are required and that radial external leakage occurs when the material swelling decreases owing to operation stoppage. The present invention results in system leak-tightness even in temperatures below 40.degree. C. and in the case of insufficient material swelling.
