  • Publication number: 20070207678
Abstract: The invention relates to a contact sleeve for cable connections. The contact sleeve is formed by a bent part which comprises a clamping area (1) for cables and a plug-in area (2). The clamping area (1) and the plug-in area (2) are connected together by means of a frame (3). The plug-in area (2) comprises a receiving element (28) for an insertion tongue. Two chambers (29) are embodied in the plug-in area (2) which are arranged adjacent to the receiving element (28).

  • Publication number: 20040082226
Abstract: Electrical socket outlet having two rectangular plug-in openings, whose broad sides are aligned parallel to one another, and having a grounding opening lying on the center perpendicular of the line connecting the plug-in openings, the socket outlet comprising a plug-in shell and a bottom shell, wherein slots in the plug-in shell accommodate essentially straight contact rails and a likewise essentially straight grounding rail, each having a U-shaped cross section, wherein the free ends of the limbs of the contact rails and the grounding rail point toward the plug-in openings and the grounding opening, and wherein the limbs of the contact rails and the grounding rail are supported on both sides of the slots by transverse webs.

  • Patent number: 5758762
Abstract: An electrical switch having a switching lever for actuating a slide which receives at least one contact bridge, and having an enabling slide which is active in the inserted position. The technical problem is to provide a switch whereof the switching lever only enables effective switching once the enabling slide is in the inserted position. Moreover, in the ON position, the switch is to have a hysteresis so that compensation movements of the switching lever are permissible. Finally, the contact bridge is to perform a sliding movement on the fixed contacts in order to clean the fixed contacts. The enabling slide has a bearing point for the switching lever which is active in the inserted position. A push rod (24) is guided linearly, is moved by the switching lever and comes into engagement with a profiled guide of the slide. In the ON position, on pivoting into a latching step, the slide and the contact bridge perform a transverse movement on the fixed contacts of the contact springs.

  • Patent number: 5369385
Abstract: An electrical switch having a transmission linkage which is actuated by a rocker and which is coupled to a slide bearing contacts and which contains a triggering lever cooperating with a latching piece. The technical problem is to provide a switch with a strong latching force and reliable unlatching. The transmission linkage is constructed as a toggle lever, to the toggle joint (13) of which the rocker (14) is coupled and the first lever (12) of which is coupled in a bearing which is fixed to the housing and the second lever (11) of which is constructed as a latching lever for a pivot lever (10), which latching lever is active in a position of the toggle lever above the dead center. The pivot lever (10) engages into the slide (6). A yoke lever (15) is constructed as a triggering lever for the second lever (11) of the toggle lever and as a counterbearing for a pressure spring (26).

  • Patent number: 5248849
Abstract: An adapter box having a base structure that has an annular sealing ridge on the cover side and with a cover that has a sealing effect with an annular sealing strip in conjunction with the sealing ridge. The technical problem is complete sealing of the adapter box in the area of the cover and of a connector so that jet-proofing is attained. The sealing strip (54) has a trough-shaped section (35) overlapping the sealing ridge (7), and the sealing ridge (7) has two tongues (32) separated by a gap (33). Each window (11) formed as a cutout in a wall (3) has a contour consisting of straight sections (12) and centric arc sections (13) with the same radius, which together form in each case a one nth partial arc, with n=3, 4 . . . , of the full arc. The collar (18) of the sealing flange has an external contour identical with the contour of the window (11).
