    Abstract: Relay having contact springs operated by a shifting member, which is mechanically held in one or two end positions. The shifting member is shiftable by one or two magnetic drive systems. It is provided with two over-center springs at one end or at each end. The over-center springs bear at one end on the movable shifting member and on the other end on a fixed point, which is connected to the body of the relay. Monostable relays are provided with a return spring.
