  • Patent number: 4790772
Abstract: A substantially U-shaped electric connecting terminal wherein a plate-like web is flanked by and is integral with two sidewalls. The web has a centrally located partly circular opening and two sector-shaped springy lugs which extend into the opening. Each sidewall has an outer panel which is integral with the web and an inner panel which is integral with the respective outer panel and carries a springy lug which overlies a portion of the opening. The dimensions of the lugs are selected in such a way that, when the web is impaled on a cylindrical or polygonal stud of a support for the terminal, the tips of the lugs frictionally engage the peripheral surface of the stud and hold the terminal in a selected position with reference to the support. The lugs of the sidewalls alternate with the lugs of the web and define therewith slots which extend radially of the opening.

  • Patent number: 4689454
Abstract: An electrical push button switch having a cylindrical enclosure with a base in which pairs of contacts are located. A push button is guided in this cylindrical enclosure having one contact spring for each pair of contacts. The design ensures that the push button switch is splash-proof with an almost integral serviceable assembly and that with this assembly, the switch can be designed not only for normally opened, but also for normally closed functions. The base is formed in one piece as main element of the enclosure and has an interior chamber at both sides of which the contacts are arranged. Each contact spring has resilient legs which are adjacent to the contacts in one switch position and which are separated from the contacts in the other switch position.

  • Patent number: 4653835
Abstract: An electrical plug-coupler-system with a cylindrical plug socket comprising a collar with an external thread, the coupler of which engages in the collar and can be fixed with a cap on the external thread of the collar. The technical problem is the sealing of the interior against emerging oil and against entering water, especially pressurized water at diving pumps. The insert sleeve of the plug socket has several barbed tongues at a front ring, the ridges of the tongues facing an end shoulder of the collar by leaving a peripheral gap open which receives an inner edge of an installation hole as well as a sealing washer. A nut is screwed firmly onto the external thread of the collar for fixing the sealing washer. The coupler cap tightens the front edge of the collar by a ring surface.

  • Patent number: 4614848
Abstract: A switch arrangement comprising a casing and a cover forming the enclosure for reception of a switch, provided with an automatically engaging lock pretensioned by a reset spring, a re-locking button for the lock and a pivoting switch lever for the actuation of a switch button for the switch. The technical object is the reduction of the components for the operating means and as a result of this an increase of the functional safety of the switch arrangement. The cover has a cylindrical wall which overlaps a cylinder-shaped ring wall of the casing and can be turned on the casing. Elements of the cover and the casing are formed for engagement to each other and have the function of a lock. The top surface of the cover has the function of a re-locking button. The switch lever is made in one piece with and moulded directly onto the cover.
