  • Patent number: 9205516
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic wheel set press for the simultaneous pressing of two wheel (1, 2) or brake disks on a wheel axis (3) having a frame construction (4) mounted on a base (5), said frame construction being comprised of two identical vertical press stands (6, 7) connected to one another in a fixed manner at a mutual distance via horizontal traverses (8, 9). The press stands (6, 7) each have a housing (10, 11) serving to accommodate a centering cylinder (12) engaging the wheel axis (3) on one end (14 15). In addition, a press cylinder (13) is provided concentrically to the centering cylinder (12). said press cylinder engaging the wheel (1, 2) or brake disk to be pressed, as well as control devices (22) for loading each of the two cylinders (12, 13) with a pressure medium.

  • Publication number: 20090095139
Abstract: A mobile wheelset reprofiling device mounted on rollers which can be moved on a workshop track for reprofiling wheelsets is provided. The wheelsets are mounted in a bogie such that they can rotate. The reprofiling includes using a mobile wheelset lathe, which can be connected to a corresponding service container which is also mounted on rollers and can be moved on a workshop track. A device for supporting another wheelset which is currently not being machined is also provided. The mobile wheelset lathe, the service container and the device for supporting the wheelsets are attached to a common support frame which is mounted on rollers which can be moved in the workshop track.

  • Patent number: 7261620
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for reprofiling wheel disks (7) or brake disks of a railway wheel or wheelset (6), rotatably mounted in bearing housings (9), by machining using a machine tool (12), which is designed to be portable, a wheel disk (7) of the railway wheel or the wheelset (6) being pressed against backup rolls (16) on its circumference by a clamping element (14, 15), which engages on at least one bearing housing (9), at least one of the backup rolls setting the railway wheel or the wheelset (6) into rotation, while simultaneously a tool (20) machines one of the wheel (7) or brake disks. The invention also relates to a machine tool (12) for carrying out the method.

  • Patent number: 4512240
Abstract: A door, particularly for a car, is a rigidified plastic unit. It comprises an integral plastic door inner part having a box-shaped lower part with an open side facing outwardly and having a window frame at the top thereof. There is a door outer part which is fitted over the open box-shaped inner part for closing off the same. Optionally, an H-shaped reinforcing element is disposed between the inner and outer parts, with two legs of the H extending partially through a U-shaped channel which shapes the upper part of the window frame. The window pane is part of the outer door part and may be integral therewith. An air duct may be defined in the door inner part or in the reinforcing element for blowing air over the window.

  • Patent number: 3948572
Abstract: A twin track laying chain, in which the chain bodies provided with guiding mandrels are interconnected by connectors adapted respectively to be received by the tooth spaces of toothed gear rings respectively associated with the two chains of the twin chain. The two chains are so offset relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the two chains that the teeth of one of the toothed gear rings are in alignment with the tooth spaces of the other one of the toothed gear rings.
