  • Patent number: 11260568
Abstract: The invention relates to a cold runner block in a vertically operating injection molding machine for processing elastomer materials with an upper fixed molding platen and a molding platen arranged thereunder which is movable relative to the fixed molding platen, between which a molding tool having a plurality of mold cavities is arranged and wherein the cold runner block is arranged between the fixed molding platen and the molding tool, the cold runner block containing a distribution plate having the cold runners and containing a nozzle plate with nozzles each assigned to one of the plurality of mold cavities, which is characterized in that the distribution plate formed from a plurality of distribution strips (10-40) is arranged on a retaining plate (2), which can be fastened to the fixed, feed-side molding platen in such a way that each distribution strip (10-40) is connected by means of two bolts (3) to the retaining plate (2) in that the head (5) of each bolt (3) facing away from the distribution strip (10

  • Publication number: 20100104685
Abstract: A device for processing elastomers or thermoplastics has a distribution system that is disposed between a plasticizing unit and an injection-molding die for distribution of the material plasticized in the plasticizing unit. At least one nozzle is disposed on the distribution system, by way of which nozzle the plasticized elastomer can be injected into the cavity of the injection molding die. The at least one nozzle is attached outside the center on a rotating insert, in each instance, which insert is disposed in a recess in the distribution system.

  • Publication number: 20080118598
Abstract: A method for injecting plasticized masses such as rubber, silicone, and the like into a mold die of an injection-molding machine, directly or by way of a cold channel, uses a nozzle whose opening width can be changed. The opening width is maximal at the beginning of the injection process, and is changed over the course of the injection process, up to its end, using a predetermined control profile. The temperature of the mass is influenced in a targeted manner in accordance with the opening width, and the friction losses in the mass that change as a result of this.

  • Patent number: 7063525
Abstract: An extrusion die for injecting plasticizable elastomers into a cavity of an injection-molding die, wherein the extrusion die is mounted on a cold-channel block which, for distribution of the material plasticized in a plasticization aggregate, is arranged between the aggregate and the injection-molding die. The extrusion die opening can be closed off with a needle that forms the extrusion-die-opening end of an insert that can be displaced in the extrusion die body and has a material transport channel. An external drive is provided for the displacement movement.
