Abstract: A gas-filled bubble sheet for application in civil engineering is formed from several films of coextruded layers, in which barrier materials are located. By varying the barrier materials and the sequence of layers, the bubble sheet can also be made suitable for conditions encountered in construction, in particular with regard to the gas impermeability, the load-bearing properties, the dynamic stiffness and damping properties thereof.
