    Abstract: A conversion kit for interconnecting particulate screening panels to a support frame includes a plurality of panels, an interface and a connecting pin. A method of using the conversion kit includes the steps of providing at least two of the screening panels each defining at least one locating recess; providing an interface having at least one skirt depending therefrom and a bore therethrough; providing at least one pin defining a head and an opposing extension; attaching the head in the locating recesses to connect the screening panels together; inserting the skirt in an aperture of a support frame; and inserting the opposing extension in the bore of the skirt to attach the screening panels to the support frame for screening particulates.

    Abstract: The invention provides for a screening panel of a synthetic plastics material which has a screening surface and plug socket connections adapted to secure the panel releasably in a side-by-side relationship with similar panels. The panel includes a spacer element along one peripheral edge of the panel and extending in a direction transverse to the screening surface of the panel and being integral and unitary with the panel so that in side view the panel is substanitally L-shaped. The spacer element is adapted to space the screening surface of the panel from a second screening surface substantially parallel to the screening surface of the panel to thereby form a double screen deck supported on the same support frame.

    Abstract: There is provided a screening panel having screening apertures and which can be secured to a support frame side-by-side with similar panels to form a screen deck. The panel has ridges along two of its sides which project above the screening surface. The ridges form a channel which confines liquid flowing across the screen deck to flow across the screening apertures. Grooves extend through the ridges to direct liquid flowing across the screen deck directly into the screening apertures.

    Abstract: The invention provides for a fastening arrangement for a screening or lining panel in which the fastening arrangement includes half-tubular protrusions along the periphery of the panel which can fit in pairs into corresponding apertures in a support frame. The bore of each half-tubular protrusion is blanked off so that when a pair of such protrusions are fitted in an aperture in a support frame, a blind bore is formed. The fastening means further includes a pin which can be inserted into the bore formed by a pair of protrusions fitted into an aperture. The pin when inserted into the bores of the protrusions spreads the ends of the protrusions and thereby fastens the panel to the support frame.

The spray nozzle mounting comprises a projection fast with or attachable to a fluid suply line and having a passage extending therethrough, the projection having a configuration whereby the spray nozzle can be removably mounted by the tubular spigot being removably clipped to the projection in a spigot and socket fashion.
