  • Publication number: 20080128154
Abstract: A method for producing a winding conductor (6a) for electrical appliances, in which one or a plurality of thermoplastic insulating layers (60) are applied by an extrusion process to an enameled wire (2) pre-insulated with a functional insulation (22), and in which each of these thermoplastic insulating layers (60) consists exclusively of a high-temperature thermoplastic. Also described is a winding conductor produced according to the method. The thickness of the insulating layer is respectively less than or equal to 25 ?m. The use of a high-temperature thermoplastic as the insulating layer makes it possible to produce winding conductors for thermal classes H and F at low cost in an extrusion process.

  • Publication number: 20020149452
Abstract: A low-voltage switching device includes a guide insert for receiving the bridge contact of the device. The guide insert can be fixed without play inside the housing of the switching device. The bridge contact is mounted in the guide insert in a manner that permits it to linearly move counter to a spring force.

  • Patent number: 6466115
Abstract: The invention relates to a low voltage switchgear with a bimetallic actuator, especially to a motor safety switch. The aim of the invention is to improve such a low voltage switchgear so that the fabrication and assembly tolerances are widely compensated for. To this end, the two-part (21, 22) housing (2) of the switchgear (1) is provided with an opening (23), that is closed with a protective cover (24). By way of said opening (23), the bimetallic component (51) and the jack system are accessible for the purpose of measurement and a bridge system (52) of the bimetallic actuator (5) that is calibrated on the basis of the measured values can be mounted therethrough.

  • Patent number: 4460274
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for luminescence-spectroscopic examination and determination of coatings and coating profiles of solid and liquid layers and layer assembles whereby the luminescent substances present in the layers are photoselectively probed and determined through emission product spectra in incident and/or transmitted light by a photon detector using an emission spectroscopic process and whereby the photoselectivity of the luminescence-spectroscopic process being based on the substance related choice of the difference in wavelength .DELTA. .lambda. between the emission wavelength .lambda..sub.e and the excitation wavelength .lambda..sub.a.

  • Patent number: 4361032
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically determining the surface tension by the stalagmometer principle using a pipette containing a test volume, having a drop face at its lower end and is provided with three light barriers. The three light barriers are connected to an evaluation circuit which counts the number of whole drops and also determines the fractions of whole drops pertaining to the test volume.
