  • Patent number: 5522663
Abstract: A temperature sensor arrangement including a temperature sensor having a measuring element formed as a temperature-dependent variable resistor, and an electronic circuit for function checking of the temperature sensor. The electronic circuit includes a temperature-independent test resistor arranged parallel to the measuring element, first and second semiconductor switches arranged in current circuits of the measuring element and the test resistor, respectively, and a control conductor and a voltage converting element for alternatively connecting the two semiconductor switches to an auxiliary input of the temperature sensor.

  • Patent number: 5463373
Abstract: A device is disclosed which can detect and document tampering in the signal transmission path between speed measurement and/or mileage counting devices and the speed transmitters which are associated with these devices using the simplest possible means and so as to be suitable for large-scale series manufacture. The device provides that at least one movement transmitter, which senses forces which are typical of driving, is arranged inside the respective measurement device, and that an evaluating circuit is also provided, which delivers a signal which controls a recording arrangement when signals of a speed transmitter do not correspond with those of the movement transmitter.

  • Patent number: 4389653
Abstract: In the disclosed recording device, variable values are measured and recorded on a recorder carrier by moving the record carrier along a given direction. A number of recorders form a row and define separate tracks along the direction when the record carrier moves and trace lines along the tracks when actuated. The recorders are divided into a first group and a second group while suitable means measure the variable values. An energizing arrangement energizes a different recorder of the first group for each one of a number of ranges of measured values and energizes a different recorder of the second group for each one of a number of increments of measured values within each range. Each recorder of each second group is energized for the same corresponding increment regardless of the particular range.

  • Patent number: 4323933
Abstract: The record carrier allows visually readable recordings of measured values. A measuring device associated with said record carrier is driven by a drive device. The erasing device comprises at least one erasing magnet positioned directly on top of the record carrier and movable transverse to its transport direction so that the magnetic axis is parallel to the plane of the record carrier. The movement of the erasing magnet is effective essentially in the direction of the magnetic axis. A permanent magnet is used as the erasing magnet. A carrier for the magnet is in driving connection with the driving device of the measuring device.

  • Patent number: 4200812
Abstract: In the disclosed frequency converter, a pulse shaper receives pulses at the input frequency and changes their pulse widths to a predetermined value. An integrator integrates the reshaped pulses. An ultra high resistance triggering stage applies the voltage output of the integrator to a monostable multivibrator which is fired each time the voltage output of the integrator exceeds a predetermined value. The multivibrator forms pulses which turn on a discharge circuit that rapidly resets the integrator with each multivibrator output pulse. The multivibrator output pulses appear at the attenuated frequency which is established by, and can be infinitely varied by, stepless change of the predetermined pulse widths.

  • Patent number: 4063142
Abstract: The output of an operational amplifier is connected to a bridge having as its diagonal two push-pull, complementary-symmetry, output stages, the servo motor being connected between the emitters junction of the one stage and the emitters junction of the other stage.

  • Patent number: 4054922
Abstract: The record carrier is made of a material which can be caused to assume a dark state by passing a magnetic field through the record carrier normal thereto. It can be caused to assume a light state by establishing in the general plane of the record carrier two magnetic fields which are oriented generally perpendicular to each other. The recording apparatus which incorporates the record carrier is provided with means for effecting record carrier transport past an erasing unit and a writing unit. The writing unit forms a recording trace on the record carrier during such transport by generating a radial field lying in the general plane of the record carrier. Because this field is radial it is comprised of field components which are oriented generally perpendicular to each other and which furthermore are oriented at angles to the record carrier transport direction.
