  • Publication number: 20040050234
Abstract: The saw blade (1) includes an elongated body (2) having a longitudinal edge and defining a plane of main extension (6). A plurality of protrusions (4) each is located in the region of the longitudinal edge and each includes a seat (12). A plurality of form bodies (5) each is made of hard cutting material, has a cross section (15) and is connected to one of the seats (12). Each cross section (15) of the form bodies (5) in the plane of main extension (6) at a side facing the respective seat (5) is limited by a line (16) in the form of a circular arc, and at a side facing away from the respective seat (5) it is limited by a front line (17) of a surface (18). The line (16) in the form of a circular arc and the front line (17) enclose a wedge angle (22) which is less than approximately 90 degrees, and they are designed and arranged to form a free angle (23). A plurality of cutting portions (10) each extends approximately transverse with respect to the plane of main extension (6).

  • Patent number: 6266553
Abstract: In a computed tomography apparatus, and a method for operating same, for obtaining cardiac images, a spiral scan of a measurement volume containing a patient's heart is conducted, the production of the scanning data during the spiral scanning being synchronized with an ECG signal from the patient, in order to produce a graphic representation of the examination volume, and thus an image of the patient's heart. The ECG signal is employed to control the generation of the data during the spiral scanning at phase of the cardiac cycle wherein minimum movement of the heart takes place. The chronological correlation between the recording of the scanning data and the ECG signal is fixed, so that within each number of successive time intervals, a dataset is obtained completely within that time interval. The datasets from the successive time intervals are then combined to produce an image of the heart.

  • Publication number: 20010004860
Abstract: A saw blade includes a body (1) being formed symmetrically about a longitudinal center plane (8). A plurality of spaced apart unset teeth is formed symmetrically along the longitudinal center plane of the body in at least one recurring cycle of teeth. The at least one recurring cycle of teeth includes at least one first group of teeth and at least one second group of teeth. The at least one first group of teeth includes at least two first teeth (2). The height of one first tooth (2) is different than the height of one other first tooth (2). The width of one first tooth (2) is different than the width of one other first tooth (2). The at least two first teeth (2) each include at least one effective cutting edge (5) having at least one phase (7). The at least one second group of teeth includes at least two second teeth (2*). The heights of the second teeth (2*) are approximately identical and the widths of the second teeth (2*) are approximately identical.

  • Patent number: 6158324
Abstract: A saw blade comprising a basic body (8) lying in a longitudinal center plane (9) and having an edge and including along its edge a group (6) of recurring teeth (1, 2, 3, . . . ), the group (6) comprising at least one unset leading tooth (1) being provided with a phase and having an effective cutting-edge section (10) and a preferably even number of trailing teeth (2, 3, . . . ). The leading tooth (1) has a larger height than all of the trailing teeth (2, 3, . . . ). All of the trailing teeth (2, 3, . . . ) have different plastic deformations at their tips (28) by displacements of material in the running direction (24) of the saw blade. Each of the trailing teeth (2, 3, . . . ) have both a positive enlarged rake angle (gamma.sub.2, gamma.sub.3, . . . ) and a reduced height (h.sub.2, h.sub.3, . . . ) with respect to the leading tooth (1) produced by different plastic deformations.

  • Patent number: 5425296
Abstract: A saw blade having a basic body (1) and unset teeth (2.sub.1, 2.sub.2, etc.) having recurring cycles of teeth, each cycle having at least one group of teeth with at least three teeth, and where tooth height decreases from tooth to tooth while tooth width simultaneously increases. The teeth (2.sub.1, 2.sub.2, etc.) are formed symmetrically with respect to a longitudinal center plane (8) extending through the basic body (1). The effective cutting edges or cutting-edge sections (6.sub.1, 12.sub.1, 14.sub.2, 12.sub.2, etc.) of each tooth (2.sub.1, 2.sub.2, etc.) are formed by a jutting-out or protruding cutting edge, the inner section (6.sub.1, 6.sub.2, etc.) of which runs approximately perpendicularly with respect to the longitudinal center plane (8) and which is adjoined externally by a phase (7.sub.1, 7.sub.2, etc.) inclined toward the basic body (1) The widest tooth (2) in the group of teeth has an angle greater than 90 degrees formed between phase (7 ) and flank (10).
