Patent number: 11009539Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for insulation monitoring including identification of a faulty outer conductor in a three-phase ungrounded power supply system. The fundamental idea of the present invention rests upon determining the phase angle between the measured mains voltage and the measured neutral-point voltage when presuming only one measurement of the mains voltage to ground at one of the outer conductors and one measurement of the neutral-point voltage to ground. The value of the thus determined phase angle is in one of three angle ranges which each extend over 120 degrees and are to be assigned to one of the three outer conductors so that the faulty outer conductor is determined. The faulty outer conductor is thus detected by measuring only one mains voltage in conjunction with the measurement of the neutral-point voltage by evaluating the phase between the two measured voltage.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 2019Date of Patent: May 18, 2021Assignee: BENDER GMBH & CO. KGInventors: Manfred Geiss, Carsten Weiss

Patent number: 10910993Abstract: The invention relates to circuit arrangements for reducing potential-induced degradation in photovoltaic modules of a photovoltaic generator, said circuit arrangements comprising an insulation monitoring device for a temporally continuous insulation monitoring of the photovoltaic generator. Furthermore, the invention relates to a photovoltaic system comprising a circuit arrangement for reducing potential-induced degradation in photovoltaic modules, said photovoltaic system comprising a photovoltaic generator and an insulation monitoring device for a temporally continuous insulation monitoring of the photovoltaic generator. Different solutions are proposed which enable reducing potential-induced degradation while simultaneously continuously monitoring insulations. The circuit arrangements according to the invention rest upon an insulation monitoring device interacting with measures based circuit technology for influencing potentials in a photovoltaic module.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2017Date of Patent: February 2, 2021Assignee: BENDER GMBH & CO. Publication number: 20070108654Abstract: In a method for producing a double-walled plastics material moulded part from portions of lengths of plastics material including at least one inserted component utilizing a closable housing of a thermoforming or vacuum moulding machine, upper and lower portions of a length of material are inserted into the opened housing between an upper and a lower housing portion by means of upper and lower conveying devices. The upper and lower portions are held apart via a twin-sheet frame. To seal the portions of length of material and the twin-sheet frame and simultaneously to hold the portions of the length of material with a slight excess pressure during heating prior to producing deformed upper and lower portions of the length of material, the upper portion of the length of material is pressed onto the twin-sheet frame in a region above it by a movable clamping frame and simultaneously the lower portion of the length of material is pressed against the lower housing portion to create a closed chamber.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 13, 2006Publication date: May 17, 2007Inventor: Manfred Geiss
