  • Patent number: 8726805
Abstract: The letterpress printing machine includes an impression cylinder (8), at least one inking device (11, 12, 13) with an inking train comprising inking rollers (25, 26, 28) and at least one letterpress form cylinder (14, 15, 16) inked by said at least one inking device (11, 12, 13). The at least one letterpress form cylinder (14, 15, 16) is driven by first drive means (30), whereas the at least one inking device (11, 12, 13) is driven by second drive means (31, 32, 33), the second drive means (31, 32, 33) being mechanically independent from the first drive means (30). A control unit is coupled to the second drive means (31, 32, 33) to adjust a circumferential speed of the inking rollers (25, 26, 28) with respect to a circumferential speed of the letterpress form cylinder (14, 15, 16) so as to adjust deposition of ink by the inking device (11, 12, 13) on the letterpress form cylinder (14, 15, 16).

  • Patent number: 8328194
Abstract: A sheet-processing machine comprises a plurality of modules which are passed through one after the other by the sheets to be processed. The modules each have a sheet input interface and/or a sheet output interface, wherein, in at least one of the modules, the sheet input interface and/or the sheet output interface can optionally be coupled to sheet output interfaces and sheet input interfaces, respectively, of at least two other modules.

  • Patent number: 7458319
Abstract: The invention relates to a screening machine comprising a frame and two bearing arrangements which are arranged thereon for the rotational positioning of a screening cylinder, whereby the bearing arrangements comprise rings which are rotationally driven around a common axis and which support catches on the sides opposite to each other. In order to enable the head piece of the screening cylinder to be mounted on the ring, said catches can be positioned on one half of the periphery thereof.
