    Abstract: Polyether ester polymers of tetrahydrofuran and .gamma.-butyrolactone or hexamethyleneoxide and .gamma.-butyrolactone. The polymers are prepared by contacting the mentioned monomers in the presence a fluoride or chloride of antimony or a chloride of tin or titanium. The polymers can be used as components in the preparation of polyurethanes.
