  • Patent number: 6328271
Abstract: The invention relates to a holder for a mobile telephone that has a fastening device for mounting the holder (10) in a motor vehicle. In order to be able to use the holder universally, the fastening device (12) is in the form of a three-point fastening having three fastening feet which are attached to the fastening device (12) at the corners of a notional triangle. To enable the fastening feet to pivot in any direction, the fastening device (12) has a multi-directional pivot bearing for each fastening foot.

  • Patent number: 5666633
Abstract: Interlocking metal parts that slide under pressure on one another are manufactured so that at least one metal part is manufactured by a powdered metal injection-molding method, an in order to improve the sliding behavior and to minimize the binding tendency, a non-metallic substance having a structured arrangement of molecules is admixed in powdered or granular form with the powdered metal of the metal part manufactured by powder injection molding. The substance is inert towards the metal and has a thermal stability of at least 900.degree. C. In particular, ceramic solid materials or fillers are suitable substances.

  • Patent number: 5634752
Abstract: An anchor bolt has locking elements arranged over a part of the outer surface and formed as radially projecting lugs which are spaced circumferentially and axially from one another. Therefore a good mixing of a compound mass and reduction of the driving-in resistance is obtained. Therefore the outer diameter measured over the lugs of the anchor bolt can be matched approximately to the diameter of the drilled hole. Simple and inexpensive manufacture of the anchor bolt can be provided by powdered metal injection molding method using a system of binders with subsequent removal of the binders and sintering.

  • Patent number: 5586851
Abstract: A prestress-monitoring element for screw-type anchors is arranged to be inserted like a washer between a nut and an article to be fixed and includes a pressure ring and an expansion ring. If the nut provided for fixing is tightened, then the resultant axial prestress causes the pressure ring to expand the expansion ring until the nut lies against the expansion ring. In this end position, a prestress required by the construction of the prestress-monitoring element is achieved. The position of the nut on the pressure ring can be monitored visually, as a result of which the prestress can be indirectly monitored.

  • Patent number: 5569091
Abstract: The expansible metal anchor (1) for anchoring in a hole drilled in a component includes a shank part (2) and an expander cone (4) having a polygonal cross-section defining several faces (13) at its front end. On each face (13) of the expander cone (4) an expansible segment (5) is arranged spaced from that face by a gap (7) corresponding approximately to the distance (8) by which the expansible segments (5) project radially from the shank part (2). Each expansible segment (5) is joined to the shank part (2) at its end face directed towards the shank part (2) by web members (6, 6') constituting predetermined break points. As the expansible anchor is driven into the hole drilled in the component, the web members (6,6') break off, so that the expansible segments (5) are displaceable on the faces (13) of the expander cone.

  • Patent number: 5143497
Abstract: The expansible plug for fixing an element or frame member on solid or hollow building material, has a plug shank (1) having a plurality of expansion discs (3,4) arranged one after the other along the plug shank (1). The expansion discs (3,4) are provided with eccentric bores (12,13) located so that, without the fixing screw (23) inserted, the bores (12,13) of adjacent discs (3,4) are noncoaxial or staggered with respect to one another and overlap one another and so that the overlapping bores (12,13) form a constricted screw hole (15) through the plug shank (1). When a fixing screw (23) is screwed into the expansible plug the expansion discs (3,4) are displaced laterally so that the bores (12,13) in the expansion disks have a coaxial relationship and the expansion disks (3,4) are displaced laterally outwards from the plug shank to secure the expansible plug in a hole in which it is located.

  • Patent number: 5076374
Abstract: The drilling device for memory, particularly aerated concrete, includes an impact drilling machine and an impact rotation tool to be clamped in the drilling machine. To prevent the impact-drilling shank jamming in the drill hole as it is withdrawn, and nevertheless to achieve maximum holding power in the masonry, the impact-rotation tool consists of an impact-drilling shank tapered conically toward a tip from a cylindrical middle portion of increased diameter, a carrier bush connected with a circumferential shoulder of the impact-drilling shank and a ram engaging with some play in an internal bore of the carrier bush. A drill bit-like locating means is provided on the ram for engagement in the drilling machine.

  • Patent number: 4708551
Abstract: An expansion dowel assembly is adapted to secure fastening plates in spaced relation onto a structure. The expansion dowel assembly includes an axially extending sleeve-like member including an expansion section arranged to be secured into the structure and a collar section. The collar section engages the facing plate between a bearing and an abutment. An axially extending part of the collar section between the bearing and the abutment is arranged to collapse in the axial direction so that the space between the bearing and the abutment corresponds to the wall thickness of the facing plate. The axially collapsible part permits the expansion dowel assembly to be used with facing plates of different thicknesses.

  • Patent number: 4640654
Abstract: An anchor for fastening in bore holes comprises an expander body driven into an expansion sleeve, having a slotted expansible portion, by a stay bolt to which a torque is applied to draw the expander body into the expansion sleeve. The expander body has at its trailing end a conical portion which merges into a concavely-curved portion. The angle of the concavity of the curved portion at the leading end of the expander body corresponds to a double angle of inclination of the conical portion to the central axis of the anchor.
