  • Patent number: 4108842
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of polyurethane ureas from a prepolymer which contains isocyanate groups and a mixture of hardeners containing amino groups, in the presence of water, and optionally in the presence of solvents, characterized in that the mixture of hardeners comprises compounds corresponding to the following general formulae:H.sub.2 N--R--NH.sub.2 (A)h.sub.2 n--r--n .dbd. r.sub.1 (b)andR.sub.1 .dbd. N--R--N .dbd. R.sub.1 (C)whereinR represents a divalent aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or araliphatic group having from 2 to 18 carbon atoms and optionally also containing --O-- or ##STR1## (wherein X represents H, --CH.sub.3, --C.sub.2 H.sub.5, --C.sub.3 H.sub.7 or --C.sub.4 H.sub.9) andR.sub.

  • Patent number: 4028306
Abstract: The present invention relates to linear, film-forming diisocyanate polyaddition products soluble in lacquer solvents which contain 10 to 69 wt. % of structural units of the formula: ##STR1## and processes for producing such diisocyanate polyaddition products. The polymer produced may be polyureas, polyhydrazocarbonamide, a polyurethane polyurea, polyurethane polyhydrazocarbonamides, polyurea polyhydrazocarbonamides or polyurethane polyurea polyhydrazocarbonamides. These diisocyanate polyaddition products are useful for the production of surface coatings, lacquer coatings and impregnations.

  • Patent number: 4002601
Abstract: This invention relates to compounds corresponding to the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein M REPRESENTS AN INTEGER OF FROM 1 TO 6;N represents an integer of from 0 to 4;R.sub.1 represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms;R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 which may be the same or different, each represents hydrogen, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon group containing from 5 to 7 carbon atoms, or an aromatic hydrocarbon group containing from 6 to 10 carbon atoms, or when taken together with the ring carbon atom they may form a 5- or 6-membered cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon ring;R.sub.4 represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; andR.sub.5 represents a residue of the type which may be obtained by removing the isocyanate groups from an organic (n + m)-valent polyisocyanate.
