Such a dispenser preferably comprises at least a first and a second compartment for a first reservoir and a second reservoir, respectively, the first and the second reservoirs containing a first and a second component for the dental material, respectively. It further preferably comprises a first and a second plunger driven by a first drive for advancing the first and the second components from the first and the second reservoirs, respectively. Moreover, a dynamic mixer driven by a second drive for automatically mixing the first and second components to form the dental material from the first and second components is provided. Such a dispenser further preferably has a dispensing portion or mixing tip for dispensing the mixed dental material.

At least one of the first and second cross-sectional chamber areas is smaller than smallest surface area of the first and second pressure plates. The system helps facilitating preparation and handling of dental materials.

Abstract: A device for dispensing a dental composition comprises a piston for extruding a component of the dental composition from a container. The device has a roller drive for displacing the first piston. The roller drive comprises cooperating first and second rollers, and each of the rollers have a roller surface with a radial rib profile. The rollers are arranged for rolling with their roller surfaces on one another. The invention may help providing for a relatively reliable and compact device.

Abstract: A device for dispensing a material comprises a piston for extruding the material. The device further has a spindle and a cooperating nut that are rotatable relative to each other to displace the piston axially to a rotation axis of the spindle. The device is adapted for rotationally driving the spindle and the nut individually. The invention is advantageous in that it helps in providing a relatively compact and inexpensive device.

Abstract: A light guide adapted for use with a dental light device has a reflector tube for receiving light from a light source of a light device and for guiding the light toward an end of the reflector tube. The light guide comprises further a reflector plate adjacent the end of the reflector tube. The reflector plate has a reflective face which is arranged inclined relative to the longitudinal axis. The light guide may facilitate handling of a light device in use, and may help minimizing costs.

Both the coupling receptacle 11 and the coupling plug 21 have a cross-sectional profile that is shaped such that it can be positively engaged. In particular the cross-sectional profile of the coupling receptacle and/or the coupling plus may be hexagonal.

The body further comprises a nozzle with a free dispensing end. The second passageway extends into the nozzle and tapers toward the dispensing end. The invention helps to reduce manufacturing costs, and helps facilitating handling of the device.
