  • Patent number: 6652245
Abstract: The invention relates to a piston pump for a hydraulic, slip-controlled vehicle brake system. The piston pump has a piston, which is inserted with a part of its length into a sleeve. A tubular filter that encompasses the piston is attached to the sleeve and constitutes a captive retainer, which secures the piston in a captive fashion in the sleeve. In order to reduce an axial mobility of a sealing ring that seals the piston in the pump housing, the invention proposes attaching the filter, which limits the axial mobility of the sealing ring, to the sleeve in an axially mobile fashion.

Abstract: The invention relates to a piston pump (10) for a hydraulic, slip-controlled vehicle brake system. The piston pump (10) has a piston (20), which is inserted with a part of its length into a sleeve (12). A tubular filter (76) that encompasses the piston (20) is attached to the sleeve (12) and constitutes a captive retainer, which secures the piston (20) in a captive fashion in the sleeve (12). In order to reduce an axial mobility of a sealing ring (14) that seals the piston (20) in the pump housing (16), the invention proposes attaching the filter (76), which limits the axial mobility of the sealing ring (24), to the sleeve (12) in an axially mobile fashion.

  • Patent number: 6457956
Abstract: The invention relates to a piston pump for a slip-controlled hydraulic vehicle brake system. To make a piston of the piston pump easy and inexpensive to manufacture, the invention proposes that the piston be comprised of a sleeve-like shaped part and a valve seat part that is made of plastic and is press-fitted into the shaped part. A high-pressure-side sealing lip is formed onto the valve seat part and is of one piece with it. By means of a tubular support body, a restoring spring is supported on the valve seat part spaced apart from a valve seat of the valve seat part and spaced apart from the sealing lip, which prevents the valve seat and the sealing lip from being impaired by the force of the restoring spring.

  • Publication number: 20020100507
Abstract: The invention relates to a check valve for a piston pump of a hydraulic traction-controlled vehicle brake system. The check valve is embodied in one piece as a helical spring with a closure disk on one face end of the helical spring and a base ring for fastening the check valve on another face end of the helical spring, and that the check valve be produced as a plastic injection-molded part.

  • Patent number: 6340295
Abstract: A piston pump intended especially for use in a slip-controlled hydraulic vehicle brake system. The piston pump is inserted into a cylinder bore, the piston pump has a piston, a bush, and a closure element that tightly closes the cylinder bore. The closure element is joined radially movably to the bush, for instance via caulking. This joint has the advantage that the piston pump can be assembled into a compact, easily manipulated, and sturdy component unit, and that the closure element and the bush are aligned with one another on being inserted into the cylinder bore.

  • Patent number: 6334762
Abstract: The invention is directed to a piston pump for a hydraulic vehicle brake system. For simple and inexpensive manufacturability, the piston pump embodies an outlet conduit as a groove in a sleeve bottom and a sealing part. As a result, the sleeve and the sealing part can be manufactured in a non-cutting manner by means of forming. Another advantage of letting the outflow conduit into the sleeve bottom is that the outlet conduit is disposed a small distance in the axial direction from a valve seat of an outlet valve, which counteracts noise production.

  • Patent number: 6224352
Abstract: A piston pump for a slip-controlled hydraulic brake system for a vehicle. A tubular filter is mounted on a bush of the piston pump; the filter has a filter ring that forms a guide ring and is spaced apart from the bush and axially guides the piston by a part of the piston that protrudes from the bush. A separate guide ring is dispensed with, and the structural length of the piston pump can be shortened.

  • Patent number: 6093003
Abstract: The invention relates to a piston pump with a piston received axially displaceably in a pump bore. To improve the aspiration performance of the piston pump. A cuff with a U-shaped annular cross section is provided, the cuff is inserted into the pump bore surrounding the piston, an outer lip forms a diaphragm, which rests against a wall of the pump bore and is acted upon on its outside with ambient pressure through a venting bore. The cuff is part of a fluid storage element, which makes an additional fluid volume available to the piston pump. The diaphragm acted upon by ambient pressure creates a pumping effect, if a fluid pressure in the fluid storage element drops below ambient pressure in an intake stroke of the piston.

  • Patent number: 6082244
Abstract: The invention relates to a piston pump having a piston that is axially displaceable in a bush. In order to keep the piston in the bush in a manner secured against loss, a tubular filter is secured to the bush in the extension thereof; the filter has a smaller inside diameter than the bush and in this way keeps the piston in the bush.

  • Patent number: 4942057
Abstract: Amorphous layers are made by decomposing one or several gaseous compounds which include an element or elements to be deposited. These are group 3 and 5 or group 4 elements but amorphous layers of other metals can also be made. The compound is added in a small concentration to a hot gas, preferably hydrogen, helium or argon and a diffusor accelerates the mixture while molecular clusters of the element or elements are formed and impinge upon a target for depositing thereon.

  • Patent number: 4266572
Abstract: The electrohydraulic directional control valve system includes a preliminary directional control valve and a main control valve, the latter having a control spool which is normally brought into its neutral or blocking position by means of two springs arranged in pressure chambers at respective ends of the control spool. The preliminary control valve has a sliding spool which at one end is urged by a spring into an additional safety position in which the pressure chambers of the main control valve are interconnected and pressure relieved, and the intake of the pressure fluid is blocked. A single proportionally operating solenoid counteracts the spring at the other end of the control spool of the preliminary control valve.

  • Patent number: 4056126
Abstract: A spool valve arrangement includes a housing having a flow-through passage formed with a fluid-admitting inlet and a pair of fluid-discharging outlets, and a pair of pressure-relief chambers each associated with a respective outlet for relieving pressure thereat. The arrangement further comprises a spool slide having respective ends each facing into one of the pressure-relief chambers and also has a pair of lands. The spool slide is mounted in the passage for movement from a neutral position in which the lands prevent communication between the inlet and the outlets and in which communication is also prevented between the latter and their associated chambers, towards operative positions in which pressure relief is permitted at a respective one of the outlets so that pressurized fluid escaping from one outlet into its associated chamber acts on the respective end of the slide which faces the latter and tends to accelerate the movement of the spool slide towards one of its operative positions.
