  • Patent number: 9061784
Abstract: A device for two-sided or multi-sided application self-adhesive labels to a three-dimensional object, which has a protrusion defining a fillet, including a transport or support surface supporting the object, at least one applicator means, by which the label can be applied to the protrusion of the object, and at least one pressing means, including a pressing body or a compressed air nozzle, for smoothing the label onto the fillet. The pressing body or the compressed air nozzle is mounted on a transmission, coupled to a drive by which the pressing body or the compressed air nozzle can be displaced back and forth from an initial position, at a vertical distance from the transport or support surface, to an operating position, in which the pressing body or the compressed air nozzle is arranged in the operating position, at least in part below the protrusion.

  • Patent number: 7882782
Abstract: A printing device for printing sheet elements (2) that are serially fed to the printing device, in particular product labels made of temperature-sensitive paper or paper substitute materials, comprises at least two separate feed devices (3a, . . . , 3f) for each liner strip (1) comprising the sheet elements (2), wherein each feed device (3a, . . . , 3f) comprises a peeling-off device (4a, . . . , 4f) for peeling the sheet elements (2) from the liner strip (1), and wherein the feed devices (3a, . . . , 3f) are associated with a print head (5a, . . . , 5f) with a thermal slat (6a, . . . , 6f) for printing a sheet element supported by a counterpressure surface (7a, . . . , 7f), and comprising an application device (8) for removing the printed sheet element from the print head (5a, . . . , 5f) and for applying the printed sheet element to a product.

  • Patent number: 7396170
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for printing one or several objects moving in a feed direction, in particular labels, packaging and packaging sections on a flat strip (1) or labels (2) stuck on a support band strip, comprising a print head (4) and means for introducing the object for printing to the print head. According to the invention, the supply speed of the material for printing and thus the printing capacity or labelling capacity of the device may be increased, without reducing the print quality and without increasing the wear on the print head (4) caused by the abrasive effect of the object, whereby the print head is provided with a drive (9, 11-16), by means of which the print head (4) may be moved in the feed direction of the object for printing and counter to the feed direction of the object.

  • Patent number: 7175128
Abstract: A device for mounting a delivery spool (3) having a wound band strip, in particular a labeling delivery spool, is described, which has a mandrel-like mounting core (15), a holding device, by means of which the delivery spool is releasably arrestable and/or is releasably clamped on the mounting core, and a device for axial alignment of the delivery spool. In order to make possible the attachment as well as the adjustment of a delivery spool in a comfortable manner, it is provided that the holding device that secures the delivery spool and the device for axial alignment of the delivery spool can be actuated through a common drive (30, 16). The actuation preferably takes place automatically.

  • Patent number: 6817795
Abstract: A device for imprinting a strip or labels adhering to a strip in which the strip is unwound from a supply roll held by a receiving device and fed to a printing unit. The printing unit can be opened for loading and closed for printing the strip. The printing unit has an automatic actuating device which opens the printing unit as a function of a signal. A holding device securing the supply roll to the receiving device is actuated by an automatic actuating device as a function of a signal so that the holding device releases the supply roll.

  • Patent number: 6568451
Abstract: A device for labeling foodstuffs packages comprises a feed unit for transport of the package in a horizontal direction, a weighing unit arranged in the conveyance path for weighing the package, a printing device for printing a label detchably affixed to a carrier strip, and an application unit for applying the printed label to the underside of the package. The application unit comprises a roller which, during application of the label to the package, is driven so as to be synchronous with the package. The printed label is removed from the carrier strip and carried by a part of the outer circumference of the roller and fed to the underside of the package. The point of labeling the package coincides with the zenith of the roller and the zenith of the outer circumference of the roller arranged on a horizontal projection in the conveyance direction of the package.
