  • Patent number: 4379821
Abstract: An electrophotographic recording material including a dual photoconductive layer containing selenium applied to an electrically conductive substrate. The dual photoconductive layer includes a layer of arsenic selenide applied to the substrate, and a layer of an arsenic-selenium-tellurium compound superposed on the arsenic selenide layer. The arsenic-selenium-tellurium compound has the formula As.sub.2 Se.sub.3-x Te.sub.x, where 0<X<3.

  • Patent number: 4343883
Abstract: In a method for producing an electrophotographic recording material composed of a dual layer of amorphous and crystallized selenium applied to an electrically conductive substrate, tellurium is vapor-deposited in a vacuum onto the surface of the conductive substrate to a layer thickness of about 0.5 to about 5 nanometers to form a tellurium layer, and selenium is vapor-deposited onto the tellurium layer to a layer thickness of about 20 to about 100 microns to form the dual layer of amorphous and crystallized selenium.

  • Patent number: 4315649
Abstract: A securing device for a vehicle locking mechanism includes an actuating member which can be moved between a locked position and an unlocked position by way of a key. The member has a stop face which faces in the direction of its movement from the locked to the unlocked position. A locking element is arranged to be movable in response to electromagnetic driving means to a position confronting the stop face when the actuating member is in the locked position. Circuit means are provided to energize the driving means in response to operation of the key.

  • Patent number: 4311331
Abstract: A centrifugal clutch assembly particularly suited for a door lock system which utilizes a flywheel mass driven by an electric motor to move an actuating member of the locking system between a locked and an unlocked position is provided as part of the connecting means between the flywheel mass and the actuating member. The centrifugal clutch assembly is arranged to include a rotatably mounted carrier driven by the flywheel mass and carrying thereon centrifugal weights mounted for movement between a clutch-engaged position and a clutch-disengaged position. A restoring spring operates to restore the centrifugal weights to the clutch-disengaged position. The centrifugal weights include frictional pads defining first frictional engaging surfaces and a driven output member arranged in driving connection with the actuating member of the locking mechanism is formed to define second frictional engaging surfaces adapted to be frictionally engaged by the first frictional engaging surfaces.

  • Patent number: 4298671
Abstract: In a process for producing an electrophotographic recording material composed of a double layer of amorphous and crystallized selenium on an electrically conductive carrier, a layer of tellurium having a thickness of 10 to 500 nm is applied onto the surface of the carrier, and selenium is then vapor-deposited onto the tellurium layer to a thickness of 20 to 100.mu. to form the double layer.
