  • Publication number: 20200024895
Abstract: A transparent safety panel for producing resistant, surface flush butt joint glazing, including two plates and a receiving profile. The two plates are spaced apart from each other and are arranged substantially parallel to each other. The safety panel has an abutting end side and a mounting end side extending at a right angle from the abutting end side. The mounting end side can be mounted in the frame and permit fixing of the safety panel in the frame. The receiving profile is arranged between the spaced apart plates in a border region in the vicinity of the abutting end side. The receiving profile forms an open groove towards the abutting end side. A further safety panel can be connected to the safety panel in a surface flush manner without an additional frame via the abutting end side of the safety panel with the groove.

  • Patent number: 8889060
Abstract: A device for regulating the temperature of a gas in a hot gas main for feeding hot gas to a blast furnace includes a mixing pot with two mixing chambers in fluid communication with each other by means of a Venturi restriction. The first mixing chamber includes three inlet ports for feeding hot gas into the first mixing chamber, feeding cold gas into the first mixing chamber and feeding cold gas into the second mixing chamber, respectively. The first mixing chamber further includes an outlet port for feeding a first stream of mixed gas from the first mixing chamber to a first gas distribution system. The second mixing chamber includes a second outlet port for feeding a second stream of mixed gas from the second mixing chamber to a second gas distribution system. The first and second streams of mixed gas have different temperatures.

  • Patent number: 8529391
Abstract: A gear train includes at least one planetary gear stage and one gear train stage. One end of a sun shaft of the planetary gear stage is concentrically surrounded by a hollow shaft of the second gear train stage. The sun shaft of the planetary gear stage is co-rotationally coupled to the hollow shaft by a denture clutch. A lubricant feed ring is arranged at a front face of the hollow shaft facing toward the sun gear of the planetary gear stage and has a cone-shaped passage opening, which has an internal diameter which decreases in the direction of the sun gear of the planetary gear stage, and concentrically surrounds the sun shaft of the planetary gear stage. At least one lubricant feed nozzle is aligned with a circumferential gap between the lubricant feed ring and the sun shaft of the planetary gear stage.

  • Publication number: 20120111245
Abstract: The present invention proposes a device (10) for regulating the temperature of a gas in a hot gas main for feeding hot gas to a blast furnace. Such a device (10) comprises a mixing pot (14) with a first mixing chamber (16) and a second mixing chamber (18), the first and second mixing chambers (16, 18) being in fluid communication with each other by means of a Venturi-type restriction (20). The first mixing chamber (16) is provided with a first inlet port (22) for feeding hot gas into the first mixing chamber (16), a second inlet port (26) for feeding cold gas into the first mixing chamber (16) and a third inlet port (56) for feeding cold gas into the second mixing chamber (18).

  • Patent number: 8128525
Abstract: A first planet stage of an epicyclic gearbox revolves in a gearbox housing and includes a planet support having two interconnected side pieces. Planet gears are borne in the planet support via planet gear bearings and engage a central sun gear shaft and a hollow gear secured to the gearbox housing. A first channel has one end connected to an oil supply in communication with an oil feed pump and passes through a gearbox housing wall, and another end connected via second channels, passing through one side piece of the planet support, to third and fourth channels, passing through the shafts of the planet gears and open to the planet gear bearings. The first channel passes through an insertion apparatus secured in the gearbox housing and.

  • Patent number: 6068624
Abstract: A stemmed endoscopic instrument has a distal operational tool, a proximal drive unit and a stem containing a force transmitting element extending through and displaceably received in the stem. A distal end of the force transmitting element acts on the operational tool and a proximal end engages the drive unit so that the force transmitting element drives the operational tool when the drive unit is actuated. An overload protection device limiting the traction force transmissible from the drive unit to the tool has a coupling with two mutually detachably connected coupling elements, the coupling being adjusted so that when a defined tension or force threshold is exceeded, the coupling elements separate from each other and force transmission is interrupted.
