  • Publication number: 20160200509
Abstract: A trash can lock including an opening slider, displaceable from an initial position into an operating position in the lock housing, a latch with an arm including a locking cam, which, in the initial position, rests against a locking shoulder of the opening slider, and which pivots into a release position in response to a displacement of the opening slider into the operating position, the pivot axis of the latch is arranged to be laterally offset to a straight line, placed through the latch head in a tensile direction (Z), such that the tensile force acts upon the locking cam against the locking shoulder. In the initial position, the locking shoulder is inclined about an angle of inclination (?), which lies within the self-locking range, as compared to the displacement direction of the opening slider.

  • Publication number: 20140020436
Abstract: A refuse container lock having a latch that is mounted in a lock housing and includes a latch head and a latch tail, such that the latch head in a closed position grasps behind a hook of a counterlocking part and can be brought into a release position by tipping the lock housing from an upright position into a tipped position or by actuating a locking cylinder and by the action of a locking cam of the locking cylinder upon the latch head that is coupled to the latch tail held immovably in the upright position so as to pivot contrary to an elastic return force. For refinements that are advantageous to the user, it is proposed that the locking cylinder should be situated in the lock housing and that the locking cam should act on an actuation arm extending down from the latch head.

  • Patent number: 6012379
Abstract: Filter-holder comprising a cup (3) receiving a coffee filter (10) and having a perforated bottom, a body (25) arranged under the filter, an infusion collecting chamber (41) opening into a channel (43) of which the outlet (45) communicates with at least one distribution funnel (32), and a foam-forming device. According to the invention, the channel (43) extends annularly about a bossing (39) provided on the body, and the foam-forming device has an elastic annular seal (48) arranged about the bossing, closing the outlet (45) of the channel (43) and deformable by expansion in order to form at least one infusion flowing passage (51). Application particularly to a filter-holder for domestic coffee machines.

  • Patent number: 5970849
Abstract: The invention relates to a domestic coffee maker having in a housing (1) with a front face, a cold water tank and a filter (4) having an outflow orifice (7) situated above an infusion collection jug (8) resting on a base (9). The filter (4) is equipped with a shut-off valve (13) for the outflow orifice (7). The shut-off valve is controlled by an actuating device which is movable relative to the housing. Displacement of the actuating device is caused by the positioning and removal of the jug (8) on the base. A substantial portion of the base (9) projects beyond the front face of housing (1). The filter (4) is enclosed within the housing (1). The actuating device comprises a rod (14) which is mounted to slide horizontally under the filter (4) against the urging of an elastic device (15). One end (16) of the rod (14) controls the valve (13). Movement of the rod (14) is controlled by a movement multiplier device actuated in response to the presence or absence of the pouring spout (12).

  • Patent number: 5063838
Abstract: A compact portable apparatus for brewing hot coffee, hot tea or another hot beverage has a housing with a first chamber for a supply of liquid to be heated and a filter assembly above the chamber. A cup which can receive, for example, a quantity of hot beverage to fill two standard cups confines the lower portion of the housing when the apparatus is ready for storage but the cup is placed next to the housing and beneath an outlet for hot beverage when the apparatus is to be put to use. The cup and the lower portion of the housing define an annular chamber which receives the convolutions of an electric cable serving to connect an electric heater for liquid in the first chamber with an energy source. A carrier of the filter assembly has a chamber for reception of hot beverage before the latter flows into the cup.
