  • Patent number: 8070376
Abstract: A system for connecting a shaft to a joint, and a corresponding method are provided, wherein a shaft journal embodied on the end of the shaft that is to be connected to the joint can be inserted into a recess of a joint connection. The aim of the invention is to be able to pre-assemble and axially align the shaft and the recess in a simple manner. To this end, the shaft journal and the recess are adapted to each other in such a way that the shaft journal can be displaced in the recess in an essentially weak manner in a first section T1 of the insertion path E, and a large amount of force is expended for the displacement of the shaft journal in the recess in a section T2 of the insertion path E.

  • Patent number: 7736239
Abstract: A homokinetic joint includes an inner hub and an outer hub, wherein several pathways are associated together in pairs, wherein balls which are guided in a cage are received in order to transmit torque between the inner hub and the outer hub. A sealing arrangement includes a set of bellows and seals the homokinetic joint. The radially outer edge of the set of bellows is coupled to the outer hub and/or to a carrier housing engaging therewith. The radially inner edge is secured in a stationary manner on the inner hub.

  • Patent number: 7691001
Abstract: A method for producing a joint connection for torque-transmitting connection of a component (1) provided with spur gear teeth (13) with a constant velocity joint (2) provided with corresponding spur gear teeth (11). The spur gear teeth can be brought into interengagement by applying an axial engaging force and have flanks (25) that contact each other as functional surfaces. The invention also relates to a joint connection of the aforementioned type.

  • Patent number: 7682257
Abstract: A constant velocity joint having an inner hub and an outer hub (1) in which races or tracks (3) associated with one another in pairs are provided and with balls received in respective pairs of races or tracks for transmitting torque. The constant velocity joint is further provided with at least one joint connector (2) which, when the joint is assembled, is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to one of the hubs (1) by mating profile members (6, 7) in order to transmit torque.
