  • Patent number: 9654030
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for starting a variable-speed electric motor, wherein upon detection of locking of the motor shaft a positive torque is applied to the motor shaft, and wherein the positive torque is continuously modified with different frequencies to overcome the locking.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 6, 2013
Date of Patent: May 16, 2017
    Assignee: KSB Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Daniel Gontermann, Jochen Schaab, Joachim Schullerer, Manfred Oesterle
  • Patent number: 9523365
Abstract: An apparatus and method for closed-loop-control of a fluid conveying system that include at least one pump, at least one consumer, at least one controller valve, and at least one armature as an actuator of the at least one control valve. Pressure and volume flow rate of the consumer are controlled independently of each other by a decoupling controller.

  • Patent number: 9157440
Abstract: In a method or system for controlling a process fluid stream within an industrial process plant, a pump is provided in series with a control valve having an associated positioner to control the fluid stream. A required fluid passage quantity for the process fluid stream is set by positioning the control valve with the positioner into a respective valve position and capturing an actual position of the valve. A physically sensible actual property value related to passage of the process fluid through the control valve is determined. The actual property value as well as the actual valve position are evaluated by an evaluation routine with respect to a predetermined optimization parameter specific to the valve with its associated positioner. If a deviation occurs from the optimization parameter, a pump drive value for the pump and control valve position drive value for the valve positioner are tuned to each other in such a way that the optimization parameter is approached.

  • Patent number: 8051778
Abstract: A chair for a chair lift has seats with a seat surface and a safety bar that extends transversely over the seats and can be pivoted from an open position into a closed position. Securing parts, in particular protective panels, are arranged on the safety bar and, in the closed position of the safety bar, extend in the direction toward the center of the front edge of the respective seat surface. The securing parts have a first section which is adjacent to the safety bar and is oriented toward the front edge, and a second end section which is oriented at an angle of less than 180° to the first section.

  • Patent number: 7690313
Abstract: A chairlift has chairs for conveying persons. The chairs may be detachably fastened to a haulage and conveying cable. A closing bar can be moved from a closed position into an open position and is mechanically connected by way of a Bowden cable or the like to a lever which interacts with rails that are arranged at the entry and exit of a station of the cableway system. In order to check whether the closing bar is completely opened or closed, a sensor for detecting the position of the actuating device is arranged in the region of the end of the rails as viewed in the conveying direction of the cable.

  • Patent number: 6520573
Abstract: A chair for a cableway system has a load-bearing framework on which seat surfaces are fastened, a load-bearing bar with a top end at which a clamping apparatus for coupling to a supporting and haulage cable and running rollers are attached. Side panels or the like are disposed at the two lateral ends of the chair. A closure bar and, if appropriate, a covering hood, can be pivoted about spindles which are aligned at least approximately horizontally in the operating position of the chair. The closure bar and/or the covering hood can be pivoted from the open positions into the closed positions counter to the action of at least one adjusting spring. At least one of the side panels or the like is formed with a cavity in which at least one adjusting spring is arranged.
