  • Patent number: 6971833
Abstract: The invention relates to an order picking system (1) with at least one automatic commissioning machine (2) having article racks (3) in which channels (4) for articles are positioned which are inclined in relation to the horizontal. Said channels comprise an article stop element and an article distributing device on their lower longitudinal ends and can be filled with new articles at their other, higher longitudinal ends on the rack loading side (B). The order picking system provided for in the invention is characterized in that a movable rack steering unit (5) has an article handling device (51) which is mobile in three dimensions and has an article stack retaining device (52) which can contain a vertical stack of articles and can be positioned vertically at each higher longitudinal end of an article channel (4) on the rack loading side (B).

  • Patent number: 6409449
Abstract: The invention relates to a commissioning system (1) with at least one high-speed automatic machine (2) which comprises at least one article shelf (3) with article shafts (4) which are adjacently and essentially vertically arranged, preferably in a slightly slanted manner, and which can be accessed from the front. Articles which are to be commissioned can be stored in said article shafts, whereby a shelf control unit (5) can travel and which is assigned to the article shelf can be positioned at each article shaft (4) and stores articles in said article shaft. According to the invention, the spatially moveable shelf control unit (5) is equipped with an article handling unit (6) which stores the articles of the same type or dimensions in a stacked manner without the use of a magazine, whereby an article stack (7) which is to be stored in. Simultaneously handled without a separate article stack magazine or receptacle by the shelf control unit.

  • Patent number: 6318051
Abstract: In a process and a device for automatically commissioning singular individually packaged products (1), especially a single pill, from a supply station (2) with a plurality of containers, prepackaged, preselected, flat, individually packaged product packs (“blister packs”) of the same type are arranged in stacks in assigned containers in the form of essentially vertical storage shafts (3). A blister pack (4) of a singular individually packaged product (1) to be commissioned is displaced into a lateral dispensing position (E) located outside the stack, and a receiving tray (5) is positioned under it. A dispensing unit (6) assigned to the storage shafts (3) with a dispensing finger (7) is then positioned above the individually packaged product (1) to be commissioned, which is in the dispensing position (E), and the dispensing finger (7) is moved downward toward an abutment (8) to separate the singular individually packaged product from the rest of the blister pack.
