An actuator configured to adjust at least one of voltage at the DC source, current supplied by the DC source, and output supplied by the DC source, or the voltage at the DC sink, current drawn by the DC sink, and the output drawn by the DC sink adjusts at least one parameter of the system relating to at least one of voltage, current, and output at the DC source, the DC sink, and/or the DC connection such that voltage at the DC connection, current flowing through the DC connection, output supplied through the DC connection to the inverter, or output supplied through the DC connection from the inverter, corresponds to a predetermined value.
