  • Patent number: 7184583
Abstract: An image system for processing image data in the form of grey-scale value signals and for generating an image that can be displayed on a presentation device, in particular for a medical diagnostic device, has a circuit to harmonize the image data. This circuit is fashioned for automatic contrast increase by a new adjustment of the grey-scale value signals, and thus of the grey-scale value dynamic range as well, with the C-value defining the center of the grey-scale value range, being retained after the harmonization.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 28, 2003
Date of Patent: February 27, 2007
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Manfred Ritter, Willibald Zahnleiter

  • Patent number: 5264932
Abstract: A video processing system, of the type used for portraying x-ray images, has a filter circuit with a spatial-frequency high-pass filter characteristic, the filter circuit including an amplitude-dependent separating filter having outputs to which respective spatial-frequency high-pass filters having different limit frequencies and/or having different kernel sizes are connected. The spatial-frequency high-pass filters are connected to the output of the overall filter circuit through an addition unit, so that the respective outputs of the spatial-frequency high-pass filters can be combined in different amounts to form the output of the overall filter circuit.
