    Abstract: A guidance system including a guide rail and a sliding element rail, and designed to movably connect a linearly movable sliding element to a body. A carriage is arranged between the rails so that the sliding element rail is movable relative to the guide rail. The guide rail includes a running surface on a top side and/or on a bottom side. A movement element of the carriage is movably guided on the running surface. The top side of the guide rail is provided opposite to and spaced apart from the bottom side of the guide rail. The guide rail has a recess on the top side and/or on the bottom side in an end segment of the guide rail, through which a bearing body protrudes, and attachment means are provided in the area of the recess in order to mount the bearing body.
