The collar is mounted on the top edge of the container jacket and solidly joined with container jacket 3. The interior space of the collar 8 contains a seal for sealing the collar gas-tight against the container jacket 3. Pressure rings for applying pressure to seals are threaded on sockets 7, and compress the seals between the cover and the container.
