Abstract: A valve arrangement, which possesses a plurality of valve units mounted on each other in sequence in an array direction (3) on each other. For this purpose each valve unit (2) possesses, on opposite sides, a first mounting face (5) and a second mounting face (6). In the interior of each valve unit (2) there extends, in a direction athwart the array direction (3), at least one internal flow duct (32a and 32b). On its longitudinal side, facing the first mounting face (5), same is delimited by a lateral duct wall (36a and 36b) of the respective valve unit (2). On the opposite longitudinal side it is at least partially open, the open length section (37a and 37b) being covered by the mounted neighboring valve unit. Accordingly compact width dimensions are possible.

Abstract: A control means which possesses an electrical control unit having a bus connection, electronic circuitry and at least one electrical output. On the latter a valve is connection by means of cooperating connection means, said valve serving for the control of fluid flows, the two connection means providing for both electrical contact and also fixation of the valve in place. Furthermore, an electrically actuated valve is provided by the invention, which is held in place exclusively by a single connection means on a control unit and is provided with electrical plug contact means, which render possible connection with such electrical plug contact means of the electronic control unit, whose plug contact elements are arranged in quicunx.

Abstract: A valve arrangement having a base plate with valve ducts, a main valve a pilot valve with actuating units. In order to obtain a compact design, the base plate constitutes the housing of the main valve and contains a valve spool receiving space with an associated valve spool. The base plate is divided into a central part and two connection parts mounted on opposite ends thereof, which connection parts constitute both a end cover for the valve spool receiving space and also a limb, which delimits an accommodation space for the actuating units. When the connection parts are removed the actuating units and the valve spool may be fitted in an extremely simple fashion.

Abstract: A valve station is suggested which is provided with a fluid distribution device (5) with an equipment panel (8). A plurality of multi-way valves (12) are mounted on the panel (8), which are controlled by an electrically actuable valve drive (16). The multi-way valves (12) are aligned in such a manner that the direction (37) of the switch movement of its given obturator (36) extends rectangularly with respect to panel (8). The fluidic connection of a given multi-way valve (12) with an internal feeding conduit (26) of the fluid distribution device (6) is performed through an orifice (57) of a valve conduit (59) which is provided on the front face (53) of the given multi-way valve (12) opposite of panel (8).

Abstract: An annular seal arrangement for use between part placed one inside the other and able to be moved in relation to each other. The seal arrangement is constituted by a sealing ring, which has a seal housing having a substantially U-like cross section and in the form of a ring. The inner ring is elastically resilient while the outer ring functions a sealing element. The invention furthermore provides a valve fitted with such a seal arrangement, a hollow piston able to be used with it and a method for the production thereof.

Abstract: A sealing arrangement for valve has at least one sealing ring, which has a substantially U-like cross section of its housing ring, which is made up of a plurality of parts which are permanently connected together. In the ring space of the housing ring a single, integral sealing element is mounted so as to be able to yield radially and with the housing ring it constitutes a component which may be uniformly handled. A sealing part thereof extends out of the housing opening of the ring space. A sealing ring of this type may be locked in valve housings in order to provide a sealing action between the valve housing and the moving valve piston. The design of the sealing rings makes them suitable for robotized assembly.

Abstract: A valve component group comprising a terminal plate containing fluid terminal ducts and a main valve arranged thereon. Between these two elements there is an intermediate plate which carries pilot valves for the main valve. For the supply of power to the pilot valves there are electrical leads with a connector thereon to provide a detachable electrical connection between the terminal plate and the intermediate plate. The main valve does not have to be supplied with any electrical power.

Abstract: A valve which includes a housing, two axially spaced liners and a spool within the liners has fixing screws running through the housing. To make it possible for the screws to be placed near together but without having to make the liners any smaller in diameter, the screw holes are cut through into the liner space in the housing. The screw holes are sealed off from the outside by washers provided under the screw heads and a gasket provided between one outer side of the housing (opposite to the heads) and a support into which the screws extend.

Abstract: A valve insert is designed for use in valve casings for making up air valves which may be controlled by air under pressure or by a mechanical system and which are normally open or closed. The valve insert is made up of a housing, which is open at its two ends and has two groups of outwardly running openings, which are separated from each other by an outer gasket ring. The valve further has a spool with sealing rings. One end the spool has a hook having a neck part which is spaced from the spool axis and a hook end which is normal to the neck part. The end part of the hook extends past the axis of the spool a distance which is at least equal to the distance of the neck part of the hook from the axis of the spool. The diameter of the hook end is somewhat smaller than the distance between the hook end and the end face of the spool. The sealing rings are so placed that, on operation of the valve and motion of the spool, one inner sealing ring is moved over one group of openings.

Abstract: A pneumatic control for cyclic successive activation of a plurality of pressure fluid consumers and comprising a series of control modules abutting each other in side by side relation for controlling activation of respective ones of the consumers. Each control module comprises a logic plate containing an AND gate and an OR gate and supporting a bistable impulse valve. Each control module further includes a connection plate having connecting openings in its front and rear sides for communication between adjacent modules and means for connecting to the associated consumer. An intermediate seal plate interposed between the connection plate and logic plate has channels therethrough connecting the gates and bistable valve on the logic plate with the connecting openings and connecting means in the connection plate in a manner determined by the pattern of such channels in such intermediate seal plate.

Abstract: A piston and cylinder device with a piston mounted for reciprocating movement in the cylinder has on the outside of the cylinder an elongated mounting element comprising two guiding members on each of which a limit switch is mounted for positioning longitudinally of the cylinder. The limit switch is formed with a switch blade of ferromagnetic material and the piston has an annular rim constituted of permanent magnetic material. The switches can be adjusted longitudinally for the purpose of adjusting the stroke of the piston.

Abstract: A multiway valve with a spool as a closure member is axially movable in a central bore in a valve casing and has associated with each of its axial ends diaphragms of elastic material secured by their outer circumference to the casing and operating with a snap action. Associated with each of the diaphragms is a support wall bearing on a face of the diaphragm made of rigid material and made up of a plurality of flexibly-assembled sector-shaped component parts to provide flexible support of the diaphragm.
