  • Patent number: 6024531
Abstract: A device for depositing and withdrawing banknotes, in which the banknotes are conducted in a closed circuit between deposition and withdrawal is provided which includes an extractable drawer for the sorted reception of banknotes and extractable drawer for the sorted reception of banknotes and for various banknotes in different shafts, from which the respective banknotes can be drawn off mechanically. The device also includes a drawer having an openable bottom and at least one open or openable longitudinal side wall, via which a manipulator can be moved into the respective position in correspondence with the reception bins for individual banknotes. By displacement in the vertical or horizontal direction, the manipulator is able to grasp banknotes and deposit the same in a shaft arranged therebelow, wherein upon reopening of the drawer, only empty reception bins are released, the banknotes having been safely deposited in a safe.

  • Patent number: 6012589
Abstract: In an arrangement for separating and sorting bank notes, including a feeder shaft and a transporting means for separated bank notes, the transporting means is comprised of parallel recirculating continuous conveyor belts. One of the two continuous conveyor belts is returned via a deflection or guide pulley. The upper continuous conveyor belt, which is kept running, is guided in an upward excursion from a substantially horizontal running direction. A reversibly drivable sorting roller is arranged in the transport path of the bank notes in the vicinity of the deflection or guide pulley for the returned continuous conveyor belt, viewed in the transport direction, which reversibly drivable sorting roller continues to convey the bank notes as the upper continuous conveyor belt is driven in the transport direction and causes the bank notes to be diverted and introduced into a shaft or bin provided below the path of movement of the upper continuous conveyor belt as it is driven in opposite direction.

  • Patent number: 5385111
Abstract: A drive unit for a watercraft, in particular for an inflatable boat, with a motor unit and with a pump unit for the intake, acceleration and expulsion of water, which pump unit is in a driving connection with the motor unit via a power train, and with fastening members for detachably mounting the drive unit to a watercraft. The inboard motor unit and the outboard pump unit are connected with one another via supporting members which serve to support the motor unit, are fastened to a housing enclosing the pump unit and, together with the power train, penetrate a plate which is arranged between the two units, forms a front side of the housing and is detachably connected with the transom of the watercraft.

  • Patent number: 5366396
Abstract: A water-jet drive with a stator and a rotor enclosed by a housing having an inlet and an outlet nozzle, the rotor shaft which supports the rotor at one end and has torque-transmitting means at the other end being rotatably supported in the housing by shaft bearings arranged upstream and downstreams. A shaft bearing associated with the torque-transmitting means and supporting the rotor shaft is constructed so as to enable an axial displacement of the rotor shaft which can be adjusted via an external adjusting member.

  • Patent number: 4451263
Abstract: The very economical padding methods for applying liquid treatment agents and which have largely become established for flat-lying material are also interesting for dyeing and finishing tubular textile material. In the latter case, the use of this technique is however opposed by the finding that on impregnating circular-knitted goods on a pad mangle the squeeze edges are marked on both sides of the tube, which gives rise, for example, to undesirable color differences. According to the invention, this adverse phenomenon and the problems arising therefrom can be avoided if, through maintaining a relatively high liquor pick-up by the textile material and through mechanical shifting of the edges, the liquor is enabled to level out any unevenness produced on squeezing.
