Abstract: The object of the present invention are novel aminobenzoic acid derivatives having the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, chlorine, hydroxy, acetoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy;R.sub.2 is hydrogen, chlorine or sulfamoyl;R.sub.5 is hydrogen or combined with R.sub.6 a C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 -alkylene;Y is the group ##STR2## or in ortho-position together with the hydrogen atom on the nitrogen and with R.sub.5 the group ##STR3## wherein R.sub.3 is hydrogen or methyl;R.sub.4 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl, or with Z substituted phenoxy; andZ is hydrogen, halogen or trifluoromethyl;X is C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkylene forming, if necessary, under substitution with R.sub.6 a 5- or 6-link aliphatic or aromatic ring system;R.sub.6 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or in combination with X a C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 -cycloalkylene or cycloarylene;R.sub.7 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl, formyl, the group Y, or together with R.sub.6 a C.sub.4 -C.sub.5 -cycloalkylene, or together with X and R.sub.6 pyridylmethyl;R.

Abstract: There are disclosed N-acyl substituted benzamides of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein: X is carbon or nitrogen;R.sub.1 is hydrogen, alkyl, halogen, trifluoromethyl, alkoxy, phenoxy or acetoxy;Y is the radical --O--, --NH-- or --S--;Z is an alkylene group containing 1 to 5 carbon atoms, or an alkenylene group containing 1 to 5 carbon atoms, either of which group may be unsubstituted or substituted by an alkyl, alkenyl, phenyl, cycloalkyl, acetyl, amino or halogenphenoxy group;R.sub.2 is hydrogen, an alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms in which either the alkyl or the alkenyl group may be unsubstituted or substituted with a halogen, phenyl or halogenphenyl substituent; andThe value of n, m, and p may each be 0 or 1, and in the case of p=1, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.Also disclosed is a method for making such compounds and pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds.

Abstract: Salts of 1-cinnamyl-4-diphenylmethyl piperazine and their method of preparation of compositions thereof is described. These compounds have antihypercholesteremic activity.

Abstract: A novel pharmaceutically useful compound, the p-chlorophenoxyisobutyrate salt of 4-(p-chlorophenoxyacetyl-amino)-benzene carboxylic acid diethylaminoethyl ester, is disclosed, which has superior antilipemic and anticholesteremic properties.

Abstract: Phenoxyalkanecarboxylic acids are esterified with 7-(2-hydroxyethyl) theophylline or 7-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl) theophylline. The resulting esters have excellent antilipemic and anticholesterolemic properties as well as pronounced peripheral and vasodilative effect.
