Patent number: 5630601Abstract: A collapsible hand trolley includes a frame having manual gripping handles t its upper end, and a support plate at its lower end. A pair of wheel carriers is also mounted on the lower end of the frame. The trolley can be folded to a storage condition by pivoting the wheel carriers about generally vertical axes, and pivoting the support plate about a generally horizontal axis. When the wheel carriers have been unfolded to an operative position, a connection rod pivotably mounted to the frame is pivoted about a generally horizontal axis to a securing position between the wheel carriers in order to pre vent the wheel carriers from moving to their folded positions.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 1995Date of Patent: May 20, 1997Assignee: Bielefelder Kuchenmaschinen- und Transportgerate-Fabrik vom Braucke GmbHInventors: Hans vom Braucke, Manfred vom Braucke

Patent number: 5529323Abstract: A hand-pulled wagon comprises a horizontal bed supported on a frame to wh are attached ground support wheels. The axles of the wheels are attached to sleeves which extend downwardly from the frame. Upper ends of the sleeves are hollow to receive mounting posts affixed to removable side walls. The sleeves extend upwardly no higher than the bed, so that when the side walls are removed, access to the bed is not obstructed by the sleeves. A manual pull rod is attached to the wagon and includes a generally arrow-shaped pull handle designed to minimize discomfort to the user while pulling the wagon.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 1994Date of Patent: June 25, 1996Assignee: Bielefelder Kuchenmaschinen- und Transportgerate-Fabrik vom Braucke GmbHInventors: Hans vom Braucke, Manfred vom Braucke, Dieter Westerwelle

Patent number: 5299816Abstract: A platform carriage comprises a wheeled load-supporting platform having a rizontal surface. A handle is pivoted at a rear end of the platform to be foldable forwardly onto the platform. The handle comprises a pair of rods interconnected by a cross bar. The cross bar is located below the free upper ends of the bars so that the free rod ends form individual hand grips. Each hand grip is inclined forwardly and laterally inwardly. The handle forms a projection which extends upwardly when the handle is folded over, and a carriage can be stacked thereon such that a recessed mating element on the next upper carriage mates with the projection of the next lower carriage to stabilize the stack of carriages.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 1992Date of Patent: April 5, 1994Assignee: Bielefelder Kuchenmaschinen- und Transportgerate-Fabrik vom Braucke GmbHInventors: Manfred Vom Braucke, Hans Vom Braucke

Patent number: 4993727Abstract: A hand truck comprises a frame having upper and lower frame parts which can be pivoted between folded and unfolded positions. Pivotable locks retain the frame parts in both such positions. A pair of wheel braces are attached to the lower frame part for rotation between folded and unfolded positions. A carrier member is mounted to the lower frame part for rotation between folded and unfolded positions. The carrier member locks the wheel braces in their unfolded positions. The wheel braces carry tires which frictionally engage the carrier member to retain the wheel braces in their folded positions. The portion of the lower frame part which carries the wheel braces and carrier member can be separated from the lower frame part and then rotated ninety degrees before being reattached to the lower frame part in a stored condition.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 1989Date of Patent: February 19, 1991Assignee: Bielefelder Kuchenmaschinen- und Transportgerate-FabrikInventors: Manfred vom Braucke, Hans vom Braucke

Patent number: 4678043Abstract: A hand tool for loosening, cutting and crumbling soil or the like, includ a central bearing axle of an angular cross section, a plurality of pairs of pronged wheel arrangements having radially extending prongs and being freely rotatably mounted on the axle such that vertical central planes of the pronged wheels extending in the direction of extension of the radial prongs intersect one another at an acute angle, and wherein the edges of every two adjacent crosswisely interengaging pronged wheels slide along one another to form cutting regions; wherein a spade-type tine or prong formed with an end portion which protrudes beyond the radially extending prongs of the pronged wheels is disposed between every two pairs of intersecting pronged wheels. The spade-type prong is mounted on the axle which may be angularly orientated, as desired, by adjusting the inclination of the handle, such as a shaft non-rotatably mounted on the axle.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 1985Date of Patent: July 7, 1987Assignee: Bielefelder Kuchenmaschinen-und Transportgeratefabrik vom Braucke GmbHInventors: Hans vom Braucke, Manfred vom Braucke, Dieter Westerwelle

Patent number: 4613272Abstract: A motorized floor truck is operable to place a load on an elevated surface and to elevate itself to that elevated surface. The truck includes a lifting assembly and a supporting assembly. The lifting assembly has a load engaging device which is vertically movable. The supporting assembly has a device engageable with the load engaging device in a vertical position. With the engaging device engaged, lowering of the load engaging device raises the lifting assembly to the elevated surface. With the lifting device on the elevated surface, raising the load engaging device lifts the supporting assembly to the elevated surface.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 1985Date of Patent: September 23, 1986Assignee: Bielefelder Kuchenmaschinen-und Transportgeratefabrik GmbHInventors: Manfred vom Braucke, Hans vom Braucke jun

Patent number: 4424869Abstract: In a garden hand tool for loosening, cutting and crumbling garden soil or the like, comprising freely rotatable prong arrangements (17) in star-like formation which are arranged to face one another to form a "V" and the edges of which intersect one another because of the interengagement of the prong arrangements (17), thus forming cutting locations, these prong arrangements (17) are freely rotatably mounted on a bearing sleeve (12) and attached to a central axle (11) by means of a central aperture (12a). Between each bearing sleeve (12) which is slipped on the axle (11), a guide bearing (13) is also slipped over and clamped to the end of the axle (11) by an end bearing (14) and a nut (15). In such a case, the central apertures (12a) formed in the bearing sleeves (12) are disposed at an acute angle (at an inclination ) relative to the external bearing surface so as to correspond to the inclined position of the prong arrangements (17).Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 1981Date of Patent: January 10, 1984Inventors: Hans vom Braucke, Manfred vom Braucke, Dieter Westerwelle
