Publication number: 20050026148Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting and/or quantifying analytes from a sample on an analysis carrier that has been formatted using a digital data code. Detection fields comprising the sensor elements required for the respective detection process, together with additional data structures in a defined digital format, are provided on the analysis carrier and combined to form sequcnces of formatted structures that can be interpreted as code words. To detect and quantify an analyte in a sample, the latter is applied to the analysis carrier and the formation of signal-generating elements is initiated at locations of molecular interaction. The localisation of signal-generating elements in the respective detection fields causes a formatted structure at this location to be replaced by another. This leads to the conversion of one code word into another within the predetermined quantity of valid code words. Both code words can be sequentially read and interpreted in the predetermined format.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 23, 2002Publication date: February 3, 2005Inventors: Ulrich Rexhausen, Manfred Wick

Publication number: 20050021242Abstract: The invention relates to a data carrier having memory locations to which data is written, wherein the memory locations have a number of first memory locations with erroneous data and at least one second memory location for the arrangement of analytical substances on the data carrier, wherein, when the analytical substances react with a medium that is to be investigated, the reaction product may cause a change to the data item which is written to the at least one second memory location, and the number of first memory locations is designed such that, on the one hand, when there is no reaction between the analytical substances and a medium which is to be investigated, a first data record can be determined when reading the data carrier and using a conventional error correction method, and, on the other hand, when the reaction product has caused a change to the data item which is written to the at least one second memory location, a second data record can be determined when reading the data carrier and using the cType: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2002Publication date: January 27, 2005Inventors: Manfred Wick, Ulrich rexhausen, Dominik Vogt

Patent number: 4405469Abstract: This invention relates to organosiloxanes which have SiC-bonded ester groups and contain at least one unit of the general formula: ##EQU1## is which R represents the same or different monovalent hydrocarbon radicals having from 1 to 12 carbons atoms, which are free of aliphatic unsaturation and which may contain one ether oxygen atom; R' represents hydrogen or a methyl group (CH.sub.3) and a is O, 1 or 2. These organosiloxanes can be prepared by hydrolyzing or co-hydrolyzing silanes of the general formula:ROOCCH.sub.2 CH(COOR)CH.sub.2 CHR'CH.sub.2 Si(CH.sub.3).sub.a X.sub.3-a'where R, R' and a are the same as above and X represents the same or different hydrolyzable atoms or groups. Also, they may be prepared by the addition of a diester of allyl succinic acid and/or methallyl succinic acid to an organosiloxane containing Si-bonded hydrogen. These new organosiloxanes may be used as lubricants for inorganic and organic fibers, metal surfaces and as hydraulic fluids.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 1981Date of Patent: September 20, 1983Assignee: Consortium fur Elektrochemische Ind. GmbHInventors: Walter Hafner, Erich Markl, Ludwig Eibel, Gerhard Kreis, Dietrich Samrowski, Manfred Wick, Bernward Deubzer, Wilhelm Friedrich
