  • Patent number: 11930991
Abstract: A docking station for a mobile cleaning robot can include a canister and a base configured to receive the mobile cleaning robot thereon, where the base can include a front portion and a back portion opposite the front portion. The base can include a vacuum port extending at least partially through the base. The canister can be connected to the back portion of the base and can be located at least partially above the base. The canister can include a debris bin connected to the vacuum port to receive debris therefrom and a fan compartment connected to a side wall of the debris bin and including a fan system operable to draw debris through the vacuum port and the debris bin.

  • Patent number: 5059134
Abstract: An apparatus is described for providing an electrical conduction path between two contact locations rotatable one with respect to the other. A flat ribbon cable having a plurality of electrical conductors and being wound in the manner of a coiled spring, is connected to the contact locations by way of connection lines serially connected to the ends of the flat ribbon cable. To protect the flat ribbon cable from mechanical damage at each of its ends, an end portion of each of the electrical conductors is serially connected to an end portion of one of a plurality of connection conductors of the connection line at a connection location, and a connection assembly is formed about the end portions of the serially connected conductors.

  • Patent number: 4927365
Abstract: Apparatus is described for providing an electrical conduction path between two contact locations rotatable one with respect to the other. A flat ribbon cable having at least two electrical conductors and being wound in the manner of a spring, is firmly attached at its respective ends to the contact locations. To protect the flat ribbon cable from kinking and mechanical damage at each of such ends, each end portion thereof is folded across an immediately adjacent portion and a stabilizer connection assembly is positioned to extend about both such portions. Each such assembly is comprised of a protective sheath of flexible insulating material positioned closely about the folded end portion; an angular attachment of molded insulating material, including a clamping segment and a ribbon-shaped, sheath segment extending at an angle one to the other; and a means for locking the clamping segment in a compressed condition.

  • Patent number: 4718535
Abstract: A method and apparatus for rearranging a plurality of baking articles which are transported in successive transverse rows on a first conveyor onto a second conveyor extending at an angle to the first conveyor in which successive transverse rows of the articles are lifted from the first conveyor by suction cups on an endless suction belt and conveyed above the second conveyor where the transverse rows of articles form longitudinal rows above the second conveyor. The suction applied to the articles is interrupted when the articles are positioned above the second conveyor so that the articles are deposited onto the second conveyor and are transported thereby so that the articles previously arranged in the transverse rows on the first conveyor are transported in longitudinal rows on the second conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4315213
Abstract: A method for obtaining an acceleration or deceleration signal from a signal proportional to the speed, consisting of storing the most recently ascertained n changes in a memory, wherein upon ascertainment of a new change to be stored in memory, the change which has been stored the longest is erased, and a deceleration or acceleration signal is formed by addition from the stored n changes, each time at intervals of .DELTA.T. Furthermore, in the method according to the invention, the presence of a deceleration or acceleration exceeding the threshold is recognized earlier.
